Astonish C1926 Fabric Refresher Trigger Spray, 750ml

We were given a lovely but smelly shag area rug that had been stored for years, compounded with both dog & cig smoke smell. Yuck. Giving it a good clean with a carpet machine didn't help alleviate the smell, nor did carpet foam from a tin. We took it outside & scrubbed it with a Fairy liquid solution & later Zoflora, hosing it down & allowing to dry in the sun... still the musty smell remained. We finally gave up on washing it & opted for Astonish, giving it a quick mist on the surface. FINALLY - the remaining smell disappeared straight away! It performed exactly as needed - plus it's approved by Cruelty Free International.

I love this product for freshening up my home. It's lovely spritzed on curtains and bedding. Super clean smell. Really good price too. I find it to be better than Frebreeze.

Moved a sofa that was musky and smokey sprayed on at night before bed (does leave this quite wet as others said) but no problem. In the morning dry and no signs of old smells. So far so good so we will see in a few days if this actually neutralises these old smells or covers it over for a few days. No complaints so far and worth a try for anyone with similar issues. I guess a lot depends on how deep the smells are rooted in furniture but if it stays like this after a few days then will defo use again.

Well priced however the scent is light. Not always a bad thing as I don’t like synthetic or overpowering “masking” products but it could have a tad more fragrance to use on sofas and carpets that need a “boost”

The nice smell doesn't last long enough for me.

After a patch on my carpet had had a water leak on it over a couple of weeks without us knowing it had began to stink!! I tried a well known carpet foam twice then a different brand carpet shampoo twice and nothing was shifting the smell. I sprayed this once and within seconds the smell was gone and it has smelt amazing since!! 100% would recommend. Awesome product.

Used every other day to refresh sofa I bought at a charity shop. It has a nice fresh scent but a bit wet when first sprayed on. Be careful not to hold air freshner directly on the fabric or it will be too wet. Oh and very good for curtains and other soft furnishings.

I picked Astonish firstly because its vegan secondly their products do what they say they do. Only four stars for this product because the scent not the best but is usable and because the seller wrapped the individual bottles in a plastic bag inside the box which would have been for the reason incase the bottles leaked in transit which would make sense if the bag was sealed with a machine but they were not they used a sticker which is not water proof so to me waste of plastic usage in the age where people are trying to reduce what we use.
