I don’t think it’s that noisy at all and it takes literally maybe 30 seconds to make a cup of coffee you hear it initially kind of start and then you just hear the water trickling out so if that’s your hesitation about buying it, don’t hesitate just got it. I love it!

What’s the best way to dispose of grounds? I would prefer a paper filter to make cleanup easier.

The manual states a paper filter should not be used. I suggest putting the spent grounds under rose plants or other garden plants. Composting is another great idea. Otherwise just tap them into the garbage. Most will clear out. A disposal will clean up the rest of the grounds that you have to rinse away into the drain. Alternatively you can try wiping them out with a paper towel.

Does this take nespresso pods, or is it only K cup?

K-cup pod compatible. I love it! I bought a new Keurig and it stopped working at 2-weeks, so I decided to try this one. There is a model that does Nespresso pods that my snl has and he loves it but this one doesn't.
