CamelBak Forge Vacuum 16oz Aubergine

I use this cup flask every day for work and I love it. I bought it after my son said it was the best one he had ever had!It has an easy button that you press and tip to drink. Occasionally there will be a tiny dribble of a leak but that is probably because I haven't released the button early enough. It keeps drinks hot for hours, is very good quality and Is easy to clean.All in all I would highly recommend this cup and so does my son.

Excellent product. Got it for holiday; made tea in the mornings and it was still drinking temperature in the evenings, approximately 7-8hrs later. Good design, useful carrying finger loop. Would highly recommend.

I personally would recommend the 16oz over the 12oz. My OH has the 12 and just about makes one drink. I didn’t find the open release button very user friendly, it was quite stiff and if you have problems with your hands you may struggle with this. The opening was small which I guess is for the traveller, they don’t get a mouthful of scorching hot drink. Made my coffee as I would at home. As part of my testing this product I used straight away. I found that I couldn’t drink from flask for first hour as very hot. After that drinkable. Kept the drink at a good temperature for 2.5-3 hours if you like a hot drink. After that it became tepid very quickly. I think the item is overpriced but it’s a useful product, well made and I loved the aburgeine colour. My OH purchased the 12oz in a nice red and obviously had same results. Overall I like the flask and it will get used on our trips away.

After reading the description I was a bit dubious about whether this would in fact keep drinks hot for more than an hour. But I was pleasantly surprised to find it did keep my coffee hot (still burnt my tongue after 3 hours) for up to 4 hours.I did preheat with boiling water for about 10 minutes as it's metal inside before tipping it away and making a hot drink in it. I did try without preheating but it didn't stay hot for long.

Fantastic! Also keep drinks warm for a good amount of time. Cleans well, sturdy. Worth the price as will outlast anything else you can buy.

This is my second purchase of this cup but in different colours/sizes. They keep your drink hot for a number of hours which is great until you forget and get a mouthful of hot beverage!!

mug is incredible! originally bought it for a trip to Iceland and it kept drinks hot all day (even in sub zero temps!). I can make a mug of tea at 6am and it is still warm at midday!

Does not keep hot goes cold in under 90 mins

I love the Camelbak Forge mug. The photo on the right is my old Forge. The photo on the left, my new Forge. I have owned this Camelbak mug called....the Forge style... for years.Pros: it keeps the contents warm or cold, depending on the contents inside. I can put hot tea in this mug at 8 A.M. and 11 hours later it is still drinkably warm for me. It is durable. My old Forge was dropped many times and doesn’t have any dents.!!! The interior cleans up easily, I use baking soda and warm water with a bottle brush. However, it is also dishwasher safe. The lid secures well. Camelbak offers a lifetime warranty. Or replacement equivalent. The mug has a ring handle. (Photo 3) This mug fits perfectly into the coffee holder of my car.Cons: THE LID!!While I love, love this coffee/tea mug.. I am not sure what happened with the lid design. The lid for my old mug style was replaced 2 times!! The first was after I dropped the mug and the grip part of the lid broke off. The next time the area of the lid that pushes in to sip from broke into pieces while I was trying to take a drink. The third time the lid leaked.......However, this time when I went to the website to inquire about a replacement (again) the Forge was discontinued!!I am so smitten with this mug......that I took a chance and, Yes, purchased it again....

Die Versand Verpackung war ausreichend, könnte aber etwas besser gepolstert sein.Die verarbeiteten Materialien sind sehr hochwertig und die Mechanik wirkt durchdacht und solide. Diese Mechanik war auch ausschlaggebend warum ich mich fürs den Camelbak entschieden habe und nicht für z.B. Emsa. Die Emsa Theremobecher sind sehr gut und "gefühlt" halten diese vielleicht länger warm aber dort ist eine Mechanik verbaut bei der ich mit dem Finger dort drücken muss wo die Flüssigkeit einläuft die ich dann trinke. Beim Camelbak finde ich es wesentlich hygienischer duch den "Abzug" und die damit verbundene Verriegelung.Die Thermoleistung reicht mir definitiv. Ich lasse sowieso meinen Tee erst etwas abkühlen bevor ich den Deckel verschraube. Wenn ich den Tee nicht abkühlen lassen dann verbrenne ich mir selbst nach 2 Stunden den Mund.Mit der praktischen Öse lässt sich der Theremobecher sehr gut befestigen, z.B. Karabinerhaken.Die Farbe des Behälters ist einwandfrei eingearbeitet und hat einen sehr schönen Schimmer.Ich reinige das ganze System mit der Hand. Den Behälter mit einem Schwamm und den Verschluss bzw. die Mechanik mit einer Spülbürste. Im dem Bereich wo der Verschluss die Trinköffnung verschließt befindet sich ein Dichtungsring der etwas intensiver mit der Bürste gereinigt werden sollte.Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit Camelbak und habe auch schon eine zweite Thermotasse gekauft ( Farbe : Aubergine. Davor die blaue Variante)

Made a huge test analyses through the web but the great discount for Contigo mug made me more flexible and I bought 2 mugs. 1 from Camelbak and another one from Contigo. Well I use Camelbak and passed Contigo to my wife.Pros:Easy to clean after daily use,You can drink hot coffee right after coffee machine, it's not burning hot,It's handy and you can stick/hook it to your backpack or travel bag,Spill/leak proof,Holds hi temperature for a couple of hours,Durable,No metal taste.Cons:Little bit bigger than I expected, so I can't use it directly with my capsule coffee machine (Contigo is shorter but has same volume)

Los materiales son muy resistentes, el color es el mismo que la imagen. Tiene un seguro en la tapa para evitar derrames. Se puede lavar con cualquier cepillo incluso de los biberones.
