Absolutely banging pork rub
I bought this to prepare some pork ribs and a pork shoulder on my Traeger pellet smoker. First things first you get a good size container for the price and the jar has both a dusting cap and a full pour cap allowing for meat prep of different varieties. The rub itself has a rich Smokey scent as soon as you open the jar with a good looking herby appearance. The flavour it gives your meat is absolutely out of this world and the smell that this give off whilst cooking is fantastic. This have a good crust on the shoulder when I shredded it and the depth of flavour this gave to the ribs in addition to Sweat baby Ray's BBQ sauce was exceptional. I would highly recommend this product for both keen meat smokers and standard barbecue users!

Really good and flavoursome
I wiped the meat down to remove any moisture and used mustard as a binder before applying the dry rub. I let it sit for a couple of hours before placing it on the smoker. It worked really well!

This is NOT a bbq seasoning
I bought this as a highly rated on Amazon BBQ seasoning. It states sweet and smokey. It is NOT. Typically you would find something like smoked paprika/ sugar / cumin. However, this had thyme a d rosemary in it. The BBQd meat tasted more like a Sunday roast, which is fine if you want a Sunday roast, but it is 100% not sweet nor smoky. I shall not be buying again and I hope this review helps others from falling on this sword I unfortunately made.

Not as impressive as the hype.
The taste may be very much a personal thing. But I wasn't impressed, not alot different to other steak seasonings, not particularly smoky, so considering the price, which is high, it's not something I'm likely to use, or buy again. Smell? Taste? Very similar to more economically priced product. Very clever, intense marketing right the way down to design, but that doesn't improve the product regrettably. If you are hoping for something full of flavour and very different, you are likely to be disappointed.
