This is not my first rodeo
I bought this as a replacement for a grinder that I wore out over many years of use. Even though that one had been reliable, there were a number of things that irked me, so I looked for something different. Most of my objections to the old one revolved (pun intended) around the burrs. I wanted a conical burr rather than a flat burr. So I started shopping. I came across the Shardor which looked like what I wanted. It had a good (enough) customer rating. Oddly, what really sold me were the negative reviews. The major complaint seemed to be that you couldn't grind a whole pound of coffee at once. Oookaaay. As you hopefully know, the proper way to grind coffee is right before use so that the essential oils within the beans do not evaporate before you use it.So I figured this should work. Bought it. And it exceeds my expectations. The first thing I noticed is that it is far, far quieter than my old grinder. With the old one, if we had guests that slept later than I did, I would wrap the grinder in a towel so as not to wake them. With the Shardor, you can hold a conversation without raising your voice while it's grinding. The second thing I noticed was the evenness of the grind. Now it may not be fair to compare it to my old grinder. After all, I did replace that one because the burrs were worn on the old one. Nonetheless, I've been doing this for a long time and I am impressed by the grind quality. The third thing I noticed was the control. You have very fine-grained control over both the grind size and the amount you grind. The amount of coffee you grind is very consistent. Once you settle on a grind size and time, you will get the same cup of coffee every morning.I know that your perfect cup of coffee will be different from mine (heck, my wife doesn't even like my coffee), but FYI, my perfect cup is Kirkland House Blend, grind #21, 12 sec. and 420 ml. water through a pour over brewer. Mmmmmm.

So far I am impressed.
I have done an incredible amount of research over the past month, and that has led me to the conclusion that this coffee grinder was the one I needed to get.I just received it today, and first of all, right out of the box, it is a fine looking appliance that looks great on my countertop.Assembly was very simple. I didn’t even bother with instructions.Operating it was a breeze as well and I have already enjoyed my first brew from a fresh grind in this device.I have given it 5 stars for now, but will come back and update after a month and let you know how she stacks up over time. I will use it regularly so mine should be a pretty accurate review.I feel like the price was right in comparison to others, and it doesn’t appear to be too difficult to clean either. The hopper filled with beans and did not let anything escape outside of the machine so it was very clean to operate as well. The grind was perfect, but I will play around with it to see what best suits my needs.Again, at first glance this one is a keeper, but time will tell and I’ll let you know in a few weeks.

Awesome grinder!
Such a great coffee grinder. Very easy to use. Easy to clean. The only thing I don’t much care for is the grounds catcher is dark brown and it’s hard to see how much you have ground up unless you take the container out and open it to look.Is it a deal breaker? Absolutely not. I think it’s worth the price. The hopper holds a lot of beans and I don’t find it too loud. It’s not as loud as my small cuisinart blade grinder was. I didn’t find it getting hot even after I ground up a pound of beans.

Could be a nice home use grinder for many, too small for my needs
Grinder was smooth, quiet and effectively ground coffee to correct and adjustable size. However, the timer to grind only goes to 40 seconds maximum and the hopper for receiving grounds could hold only a small amount compared to my large capacity brewer, therefore I had to grind, empty and grind again adding to time and mess. In fairness, not in anyway saying it is a bad unit or that you wouldn't be pleased. I work in the coffee industry and have high standards and simply needed something bigger and better. (According to the Specialty Coffee Association's (SCA) Gold Cup Standard, coffee's golden ratio is 1:18—1 gram of coffee to every 18 grams of water), just be aware of your production needs.

Perfect
This is the perfect coffee grinder for the price. It is fairly easy to clean if you use compressed air. The little brush that is included is useless. The settings on the grinder seem accurate. I mainly grind my coffee to medium-fine for brewing in an Aeropress. It works great.I would definitely recommend this grinder to anyone. The parts are all easy to remove.

AMAZING coffee burr grinder!
This grinder is significantly quieter and quicker than my Cuisinart burr grinder. I have used the Cuisinart for about 14 years, but the quality, loud noise, slow speed, and clogging have gotten worse/poorer quality over time after 4 different units. This unit is amazing, but it stops after about 4 loads of beans due to overheating/error codes, but so far not a real problem for all the great things it does! Resets itself after it cools down (~30 minutes)- and is good to go again! I love it!

Reliable budget grinder, all you need
Pretty solid grind consistency. I think it's also accurate to the grind size. We only use drip or French press so no complain on those. I do wish it could go longer than 40 seconds of grinding if I'm making enough grounds for 2 people for a week. I don't use the little cup that comes with it, though I think that cup is fine, it's just not meant to hold grounds for any amount of time. I grind directly into a sealable mason jar and tighten the lid from air exposure. I've not really needed to clean it much. I just tilt it forward over a sink and shake it gently. That gets most of the loose stuff out
