Perfect item that does exactly what it says on the tin without any fuss. I couldn’t be happier with this item. It has a nice professional, quality feel to it and does in perfectly to the space that I have available. I highly recommend this item to everyone. Even if all you need is the USB-C to HDMI, you still should get this item because it works perfectly and there is no harm in having the extra ports (which also all work perfectly, even with several things plugged in at once).

Love the idea of this but you can't charge your phone and connect to hdmi lead to watch netflix on the TV at the same time but great item

Bought a new mouse but needed this for my Mac. But it has so many other uses too!

The PURPOSE of buying this device is to ADD ADDITIONAL USB MEDIA STORAGE to YOUR DEVICE.For example for me, the PURPOSE OF BUYING THIS was to ADD MORE STORAGE and EVEN USE FILES I HAVE STORED on my USB MEDIA STORAGE DEVICES to my Steam Deck.But due to its DESIGN FLAW - LACK OF SPACE BETWEEN EACH OF ITS USB PORTS, you are UNABLE to EVEN use it, so it's a WASTE OF MONEY!!!OBVIOUSLY you HAVE to insert it into your device, then HAVE TO INSERT your POWER CABLE into its USB C PORT as intended in order to CHARGE YOUR DEVICE (Steam Deck), rather than it DRAIN YOUR BATTERY when using it.But in doing so THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN THE USB C PORT in order to INSERT A USB STORAGE DEVICE into its USB 3.0 PORT.So by USING the FIRST USB C PORT as intended to POWER/CHARGE my Steam Deck, You CANT USE THE USB 3.0 PORT NEXT TO IT, because there's NOT ENOUGH SPACE between THE USB C PORT and the USB 3.0 PORT in order for you to INSERT YOUR USB 3.0 MEDIA STORAGE DEVICE, OR you RISK TRYING TO FORCEFULLY INSERT IT in order for it to DETECT YOUR USB 3.0 MEDIA STORAGE (Which RUNS A HIGH RISK OF BREAKING YOUR USB MEDIA STORAGE DEVICE AND/OR BREAKING THE USB PORT)You'd then be FORCED to INSERT YOUR USB 3.0 MEDIA STORAGE into its USB 2.0 PORT (Which OBVIOUSLY has SLOWER READ/WRITE SPEEDS - which I'd NEED THE USE OF for what I am intending to do - GAMING).SAME APPLIES if for example you don't use the USB C CHARGE PORT in order to use its USB 3.0 PORT (which WILL DRAIN your BATTERY if you are PLAYING GAMES from your USB 3.0 MEDIA STORAGE DEVICE) and INSERT your USB DEVICE into its USB 3.0 PORT, you're then UNABLE TO USE ITS USB 2.0 PORT NEXT TO IT because AGAIN, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN THE USB PORTS.And then if you're to USE THE USB 2.0 PORT, you're UNABLE to INSERT A USB DEVICE into its USB C PORT, again DUE TO THE LACK OF SPACE GIVEN BETWEEN EACH OF ITS USB PORTS.So considering this is SUPPOSED to be a DEVICE to ALLOW YOU to INSERT AND USE ADDITIONAL USB MEDIA STORAGE to your DEVICE (Steam Deck), YOU ARE RESTRICTED from USING ITS USB PORTS as INTENDED.You're RESTRICTED to USING ONLY ONE USB DEVICE AT A TIME, which is NOT the purpose of this DEVICE, the PURPOSE of this DEVICE is to ALLOW you to USE/ADD USB MEDIA STORAGE to your DEVICE (Steam Deck).So I am NOT HAPPY at all with this purchase because I PURCHASED it under the impression I would be ABLE TO ADD/USE MY USB MEDIA STORAGE DEVICES with my Steam Deck, but it is UNABLE to be used as INTENDED due to NOT HAVING ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN EACH OF ITS USB PORTS IN ORDER TO USE THEM!!!So I leave this review for other potential BUYERS that are wanting a DEVICE to add MORE STORAGE or even USE IT AS A MULTIPLE USB HUB for adding MORE STORAGE or accessing MEDIA FILES.You will find that YOU CANNOT USE a USB PORT if one BEFORE/AFTER it IS IN USE.

Works perfectly to adapt my Mac to everything I need to run with it. The extension stays out of the way and is big enough I don’t loose it when I take it out, but small enough it doesn’t take up loads of space

I love this product, I bought it for my mac book pro, i like the range of connectivity and the fact that it is small and easy to take with me when I’m travelling.

It works perfectly fine with Windows and Mac utilizing multi-ports, however do not expect a high speed data transfer specially when you have multiple ports utilised. Perfect for students and faculty mobility, NOT for content creators.
