I wanted a kickstand for my ROG ALLY. Found this case for less than $30. It’s a snug fit onto the ally and takes some work to remove. Go slow and and careful as you do. It feels great in hand and isn’t bulky. The kickstand is great and the hard cover is nice too. I would recommend this.

This case just FEELS amazing and its the right kind of ergonomics, and texture when i'm using it. the velcro straps are a definite plus to hold portable chargers, ssd enclosures, external docks etc. The kick stand could use a little more forifying like the steamdeck's jsaux stand, but it works. small complaint on such a cheap $20 stand.It also doesn't feel like $20. very premium feeling material. the added feeling of protection for the front cover cannot be overstated. Takes the pressure off it being at all scratched or cracked when transporting it in your bag.

This works great. It protects my Ally while I travel around and keep it in my backpack. It was easy to put on and the cover fits well and will let you know if you are putting it on correctly. If you are there will less resistance and will go on smoothly. Did not try the straps had no need for it. I did notice one small issue not sure if this can be addressed or if others have the same problem. At the top where the USB-C plug is on my 90-degree USB plug(less cable strain when it's plugged in) could not fit with the cover on. The power plug went in fine so maybe my plug did not have the USB part long enough. That's really my only issue after months now of using it.

If you have an Ally, you care about it. Maybe you were a silly goose and expected a Nintendo Switch and don't like that you have to set it up and all that, ok sure. But if you knew what you were getting into, you definitely want to take care of it and this rubber shell with screen shield does exactly that. Why not add a nice rubber grip/shell? I sure as hell don't want mine to slip out of my grubby nerdy fingers. The kickstand on the back is a really nice bonus. The screen shield is thicc, yeah with the cs but it means it will protecc.

I like it because it makes the grips better on the unit. Also, there's no need for an external case. It's just easier to use this "case" instead of a normal case where you have to take it in and out.

I haven't been using my rog ally much since buying this case but it fits nicely and protects the unit well and it's nice to have the straps for batteries/hubs/etc. My complaint is I was dumb to get the white color. It picks up any dirty fingerprints immediately. Ah, also the kickstand is stupidly small and too far off center. I think all kickstands should be along the whole bottom and a much bigger design concern. I tried the kickstand right after putting on the case and my unit immediately fell over. Remembering it pissed me off enough that I took away 2 stars right now.

This case adds MUCH needed grip and protection to the Ally via a rubberized shell case and a hard plastic cover. Adding this case makes the Ally truly portable and has enabled me to tote it in bags and on trips without worry. The kickstand is quite possibly one of its most useful features, and it firmly connects to the case with a strong magnet when not in use.In white it perfectly matches the shade of the Ally making it look original to the device, and the air vents on the back don't contribute to heat in any meaningful way, and don't detract from the device's appearance in any way.If I had any changes to make, I do wish that the case was physically compatible with the JSAUX 180° USB-C adapters - it is not, as the case is just slightly too bulky to allow the adapters to fit over. I had to order a set of 90° adapters instead.Excellent value for the money, I highly recommend it.

Sturdy and protects well. No complaints yet.
