Ok, the animals pop up, which is great but the story is so so so awful. I purchased because Dear Zoo is such an amazing kid book, but do not buy this one (or others in series as they are just as bad)

Returning customer having first bought this book for my children more than 30 years ago. We are now reading it to our first grandchild. He loves it. He squeals with delight as we turn over the pages, revealing each of the farm yard animals. The words are simple, yet approximate for very young children. Excellent illustrations and a well crafted cardboard design. The (now) larger format is an improvement over the original design, placing the cardboard figures further away from grasping young hands.
