Star Wars Jumbo Inflatable Remote Control R2D2

My 6 year old saw this in Hamleys on a trip to London last week for £60. He had enough birthday money, but we couldn't justify that price. Got it on Amazon for £30 +p&p. As others have said it is just a big beach ball on a set of remote control wheels, but he loves it so I can't mark it too low- we knew exactly what we were getting.

This was for my grandson's 4th birthday and has been faced with quite a lot of battering. There was a light saber gifted as well and R2' stood up to that as well. His birthday was 15th July and last time we were there, about 5 weeks later, R2' was still fully inflated wandering about the lounge area. Yes I did like it and a good size too.

Looks pretty nice and is real large. But it is not more than a nice joke.The steering is not good, the reaction is too slow and the impulses are too long. F.eks. you press right and the R2D2 nearly turns a full round.But .. a nice present for a good laugh.

A very fun toy, complete with R2D2 sound effects. It takes a bit of time to put together - including inflating (takes a lot of "puff"!) - but once you have it is very stable and works well on solid floors and short carpet. Plus, if the sound effects start to get too much you can switch it to silent mode and still steer it about the house

my six year old son loves this toy and it became our remote control butler at his party - a little on the expensive side but kids and adults love it

Hard work to blow up, but brilliant other than that. Got this as a present for my 5yo son, and we both had great fun zooming round the house all day Christmas Day. Sure it will annoy you if you're not playing but you'll be laughing when you have a go.

Easy to inflate and set up with the remote. Hours of fun. Bought it as a present no I want one!

this was for my grandson who has special needs and is mad on R2D2. He loved it and it is easy to set up and work for him. He breaks toys very easily and this has lasted well after some of those bought for him
