Spigen Tough Armor MagFit Case for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Compatible with MagSafe Accessories - Black

I usually opt for Spigen Hybrid, Neo Hybrid or Spigen Rugged armor for my phones but there are several issues with them this year that led me to keeping this Tough Armor as my main case.I tried the:1. Thin Fit (made in south korea)The thin fit felt the best out of all to hold in the hand, but not much grip and not much drop protection.2. Hybrid, Zero One (made in china)Also felt nice to hold, some drop protection and initially is tacky, but loses grip fast.However, nothing to charge $20+ for, def not worth it.3. Rugged Armor (made in china)Felt really cheaply made and am very disappointed in this year. Grip was OKAY and texture of the case was irritating and uncomfortable to hold. Also mine had a QC issue where it wasn't evenly fitting around the phone and was the only case to conflict with my screen protector in one corner of the phone.I ended up keeping the Tough Armor due to:1. Best protection out of them all, which is noticeable upon inspection.2. Made in South Korea.3. Built in stand4. Feels like quality and almost as good to hold as the thin fit.

The prices of the otterbox have doubled within the past few years. It offers comparable protection at a more affordable price, without the added bulk.The design is slim yet rugged, with a solid feel in the hand. The kickstand works great for horizontal viewing, which is perfect for streaming or video calls. Had a Spigen on my Samsung S20 for years, slim fit but excellent protection. The kickstand on that one was metal and allowed portrait or landscape viewing of the phone. This one seems just as slim and well made with the exception of the kickstand which is plastic, only allows landscape, and barely holds the phone up. Docked a star for that, but still a great case, will purchase a replacement if they fix the kickstand.

So far seems better than the s23+ case from them I had. That one was good but back scuffed up easily on case and kickstand was almost impossible to open, but protected the phone well. I had an otterbox defender case for the s25 ultra and the fully rubberized back is a plus over this spigen, however the spigen case has a way better camera cut out that seems as if it would protect it better. The spigen case is more slick on the back so dropping/sliding out of pocket might be a bigger issue, however it is noticeably thinner than the otter box. I could tell my otter box case made the phone a bit thick in certain wardrobe choice pockets that are shorter in length on pockets, it also made it easy to slip out of them since it barely fit. This spigen case is a much thinner fit and allows acces to the s pen better than the otter box. So far the only thing i feel needs improvement is the slickness of the backing on the spigen case. i like the color, kick stand on this one pops out. The plastic backing is simply slick and needs a bit of rubberized gripping area.
