Great for air sealing. Tried installing with latex gloves but that was not practical as they putty sticks to the glove and pulls it away from your hands. Bare handed seems to be the best method. These will help with noise as well. Once installed, it looks like they will stay put for a long time.

These worked great! I used them on new outlet boxes to help reduce noise, and they performed well. They’re incredibly easy to install—just wrap them around the electrical box, and they stick securely in place. I highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking to soundproof a wall, office, or any space.

I haven't run any tests to see if it made a difference since the room was just finished, so I had nothing to compare it to. Does give me piece of mind that if any sound does come through the outlets, it's not for a lack of trying.

I can clearly tell the difference before and after applying it. The sound pitch is noticeably lower and more muffled.
