Dirt cheap and the official charging cable for the MiniRig speaker - so we bought one as a spare
Perhaps the only downside of the great 50 hour battery MiniRig portable speaker is that a bespoke USB2 charging cable is required rather than a standard mini or micro USB2 cable. Still this official PASC MiniRig charging cable is so cheap we simply bought a spare one to stay by the PC, with the original charging cable being left in the MiniRig protective case (now included with the speaker). Having teenage kids about, a spare charging lead is always useful as their cables frequently go walkies. Plus having a simple circular charging socket on the MiniRig does make it a easier to plug-in than with other USB2 leads. So 5* for value and it has decent build quality. It's not always in stock by Minirig but seems to re-appear every now and again as new stock arrives. This cable fits both the Minirig Mk1 and the new Minirig Blu-tooth portable speakers. Ours came direct from Minirig, and not another Amazon reseller. The StarTech 90cm USB to Type M Barrel 5V DC Power Cable is very a similar cable to this 90cm (3 feet) Minirig USB charging cable, although I'd buy direct from Amazon to ensure I got the genuine StarTech cable and not a cheap generic. A Minitrig speaker draws a maximum of 0.5 Amp when charging.

It works
Anyone reading this who's Minirig has gone down. 9 times out of 10, its the charging cable. I've had to replace mine once a year or so and this charger works.

Excellent minirig charger cable
Exactly the same as minirig charger cable that comes with the original product. I had an issue where my minirig would no longer charge as the original charger cable was quite old. I bought this cable and it fixed the issue.

Charging cable is a shame!!
Since I bought my minirig in 2019, I’m now on my 6th charging cable! Has anyone on here had the same experience? The charging cables do not seem to last long enough! I’m not happy! I like the minirig speakers but the charging cable is a scam really! Why can’t they get better quality charging cables and or change cables to standard ones so we don’t have to keep buying the charging cable!?!
