This mirror is plastic, so the reflection is not crystal clear but we needed it in a situation where it could hold up to repeated physical abuse and vibration. Since it is plastic, it is also very lightweight..

For the price I expected it would have been made out of a little heavier material.

Easy install, great angle all around perfect size. Highly recommend safety mirrors when being able to see around corners is desired.

I like the distance the mirror shows. I don't like the clarity it has in the mornings or during inclement weather. It becomes all foggy and you can't see a thing. I use it outside for the blocked view of my driveway.

The mirror itself truly seems unbreakable. As pictured in the description, the mirror is actually very flexible. The supporting structure appears fairly solid, but I'm not sure how long it would hold up to extreme heat or cold (probably years). The back and the swivel portion are plastic and look like they could break from a solid impact. That is why only 4 stars, instead of 5.The mounting hardware is included for different materials you're mounting to. The only thing I'll mention about the mounting is the instructions indicate using a lock washer for installing the mirror onto the bracket, but there are only flat washers included. I used the flat washer and I believe this will be fine for my use.I installed mine in my garage to assist with checking the front of my car as I pull into the narrow side of my garage (See photo). Installation took less than 20 minutes, and that included taking quite a few photos.There are many reminders to remove the blue protective film from the mirror. I think this will be fairly obvious and from my photos, you can see how crisp the reflection is once the film is removed.

My husband installed this mirror as directed (one bolt was missing that we had to buy). The thing just will not stay in the position in which you set it. Also, it’s easier to see traffic in the evening with oncoming headlights, but not so much in the day. We still have to roll our windows down and listen.

I needed a big mirror like this that could project what is in front of it with a wide angle. This works well. It comes with a nice mounting bracket, which allows one to rotate the mirror and angle it for best capture of images. I am using this to see from the back of the church where I play the organ to the action at the altar. This is really effective! The price was so reasonable. I’d priced this at several local stores and nothing was big like this, thus not able to capture as much of a room from one angle. The mirror comes with a plastic sleeve over the mirror. This helps protect the mirror until mounted where you need it to be. The sleeve pulls off easily, revealing a large and clear picture in the mirror. This works exactly as I needed it to, so I am very happy with having it. Need to see around a blind driveway? I think it would do this, as well.
