They work great!
Couldn’t believe it. They are a must for everyone that works on equipment. Bought an extra set for my son.

Great Tool But...
Just delivered today and I thought that the box end was ratcheting also, but only the open end side. I should have read the description better :(Other than that, I think it will be a good addition to my tool collection. I guess I'm back on the search.

Excellent Design and Finish!
As a professional mechanic for almost 25 years, I found that while chrome finished wrenches look nice under the showroom lights and on display in your toolbox, when your hands have a coating of lubricant (even a thin film) grasping and holding onto them is almost impossible. About ten years ago I purchased a phosphate coated adjustable wrench from Crescent and found it not only virtually rust proof but SO much easier to hang onto! All hand tools should be phosphate coated.I was looking for some gear wrenches and saw these. Not only are they phosphate coated, they are ratcheting and have a multi-fastener box end included.I am retired now but still play with my own projects. I installed this new set in my go-to toolbox yesterday. There they will stay!Great product for a great price!

Simply Perfect
Only need a 9/16 with open ended ratchet for work but couldnt find one that was cheap and had decent reviews. The open ended ratchet works just like it should. The price is affordable and ive never had any issues with durability (granted i only ever use it to tighten or loosen nuts).Only issue is with the finish getting scratched off, but that doesnt matter when looking for a long lasting tool to do work.

Not what you're probably thinking it is.
Classic case of "should have read the description." Bought these on prime day but was in the middle of a move so they got misplaced. Just dug them out and finally got to look at them. I was expecting ratcheting wrenches not an old gimmick. I wanted ratcheting closed end wrenches for working on cars with crusty bolts in tight spaces and for some tower work, places where I need the bolt engaged all the way around to break it free.Double disappointed as I bought both SAE and Metric. It's my own fault for not fully researching, but it was a lightning deal on prime day that I ordered quickly on my phone while taking a 5 minute break from moving furniture. On the plus side, they seem like very strong castings. Not cheap pot metal like in some of the tools coming out of China. Just ruined by a cheap gimmick.Edit: 10/31/2019 - I figured I should at least give these a try and report back. I used them doing some engine work on a lawn mower yesterday. The "ratcheting" mechanism requires such a wide degree of swing to disengage/reengage that I was never able to utilize it. There was always something in the way. It requires 1/6 to 1/4 turn turn to work and the cases where I need the ratcheting function are tight spaces with limited maneuverability.

These black oxide wrenches are a great quality and will fit many of the different types of bolts and nuts.

Perfect nifty addition to the tool set
I didn’t pay attention and I thought the box end was ratcheting with a standard open end on the other side. I obviously was wrong😂 I almost returned them when the arrived but I decided to hold on to them and it was the smartest thing I’ve done in a while. The ratcheting open end has come in handy more times than I can count in the last 6 months and numerous people have been impressed by its function. Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and overall a quality tool. Very much recommend for the price.
