Reverses the polarity on European campsites. You'll need something to test the polarity first, but if it needs reversing, then this adaptor does it beautifully, you can imagine the current flowing in one end, crossing over to the other pin and flowing out again, a bit like some sort of electrical ballet dancer...

Very useful is France where sometimes the polarities can be reversed. Used together with you socket tester (to identify the polarity) it worked perfect.

We have used this item many times when going to Europe, there are many campsites that use reverse polarity. this can cause damage to your van or equipment if not checked, we also bought a plug which tells you what way the voltage it’s working.

Ordered before going to france for 4 weeks.Only needed on 1 site but it didn't work, when we returned to late to send back

Thankfully I bought this just before our camper van trip to France. I didn't' think i'd need to use it but wanted it as a 'just in case. As a rule I test every hook up point before I connect to the van, It was at the fifth campsite I got a Live/Earth reverse indication on my socket tester, so added this adaptor and checked again, bingo! It worked a treat, so please I got this.

Worked well when needed it in Portugal.
