New BalanceMen's 928 V3 Lace-up Walking Shoe

I wore my v1s for far too long, but finally decided to replace them with v3s, as I'd seen a lot of negative comments about v2s. I was assured that the fit was exactly the same as v1.Nope. My wonderfully comfortable v1s have been replaced with clown shoes. They are visibly larger -- so large, in fact, that I double-checked the size to ensure it was a 7D. I tried wearing them a couple of days to see if I was just misinterpreting visual cues, but realized pretty quickly that they slap audibly when I step down, and it feels like my foot is swimming in them. I've returned them and will find something else that actually works.

Great fit, comfortable, good price.
