A nice solution for a problem i never knew existed. The simple fact that it does makes me realize that this problem is quite pervasive. This valve went in simply and the odors were eliminated.

It's a little smaller tham expected, but so far it is working good.

The drain cover is decent quality and does its job well. Nothing fancy, but it works as expected and seems sturdy enough.

Water flow in shower takes forever to drain with downspout I would not recommend opening is not big enough

This device solved my shower drain mild kickback of the drain trap water when a toilet close by was flushed; despite no sewer drain blockage.

I am reviewing after using for about 2 months. The mechanical action of the closing and opening lid works very well and water flow is optimized once you fit it in a specific orientation with respect to the water flow. However it is not corrosion resistant of rust proof because it has begun to corrode and the little handle to pull out the drain plug just crumbled in my hands even before attempting to pull on it. At times it does not keep out odor and allows about 20% of the odor in. I honestly cannot recommend this product and will not buy another like this whenever this one totally disintegrates.

This has completely eliminated the sewer gas smell that used to emanate from the drains. As an added, very welcome bonus, it also acts as a barrier, preventing any insects from crawling up from the pipes. Installation was straightforward, and they fit perfectly into my existing floor drains. For anyone experiencing similar issues with drains in areas that aren't used frequently (like guest bathrooms, basement washrooms, or even utility room floor drains), I cannot recommend this COLDDD drain core enough. It's a simple, effective, and well-made product that solves a common and frustrating problem. A brilliant invention!

The shoulder for the fit is way smaller than I expected. To fit in a 2” pipe it’s the red rubber ring holding things in place which is not strong at all
