The BEST FILTERS EVER!
I have bought water filters for many years (like 20+ years). But these actually are the best. They’re for hard water, in our region it’s really hard. Usually when I used other filters, I’d be seeing limescale start to build up pretty instantly.I started using this filter on Wednesday. It’s now Saturday and still NO LIMESCALE!And we drink a lot of hot drinks daily!Even my sons who normally don’t care about drinking filtered water vs tap water, have said commented on how clean tasting this water is.I loved how simple the process was for fitting the filter too. It looks a bit odd compared to the original Aqua pura ones or Britain’s maxtra+ ones, but it fitted easier. When conditioning it ready to fit, the process was less convoluted than the others too. Took only 1 min of running it under the tap water. Then 2 changes, done. Will buy again, as long as Amazon still stock them

Great
Works great! Massively descales the water, removes the horrible taste and makes it way softer. I’m not a massive fan of the design though, definitely way slower to filter than some other choices. Lasts about one month exactly.

Excellent Filtration and Perfect Fit
After using it for one month, I’m very satisfied with its limescale filtration. It’s effective, with no white residue or buildup at the bottom of my hot water jar or kettle. Additionally, it fits well into my Brita jug without any issues. The water tastes clean with no odd flavours. I will definitely buy it again next time.

Good value for money.
I found them a little slow to filter, even a 1.75-litre jug, but they are good value for the price and easy to fit, and if you are in a hard water area, they do soften the water and improve the taste, and you need to filter two kettles full before you can use the third filtering but I think that is par for the course for most filters and they don't leak, fitting nice and tight.

Improves the water…
It works! Far less calcium etc in the filtered water! Less furred up kettle… and the water tastes better!

Horrible metallic taste.
I currently own an old Brita filter jug and a Waterdrop Chubby jug. Both are using Waterdrop manufactured filters, one Maxtra compatible, the other Waterdrop's WD-PF-01A Plus 3 month filter. And they are good and the water tastes very pleasant. However, I was looking for a bigger tank type filter and finally went for the Aqua Optima tank.Good choice of tank. Nicely made. But the filters....Anyway, the tank came with two standard Evolve+ filters and, because the water is quite hard in my area, I also bought a 6 pack of the Evolve+ Advanced filters (listed here), thinking that they would be ideal. How wrong could I be...Even though the two Advanced filters I used were both prepared correctly, the resulting water was disgusting, with a horrid metallic taste to it. So, thinking that one of the filters may be faulty, I fitted each into my Brita jug (since they are compatible) to test them individually. The result was no change. Both produced the same disgusting tasting water. So, I unwrapped another, as a control test, and prepped and tried that in the jug. Same disgusting taste.Bear in mind here that my tap water, apart from the chlorine, tastes generally neutral. It tastes nothing like the water coming out of these filters. So, this nasty metallic tang is coming from the filters. Nowhere else.I then gave up with the 'Advanced' filters and prepped and installed the two standard Evolve+ filters that came with the tank. Lo and behold, no nasty taste. Not as good as the Waterdrop filters, but nothing like the Advanced filters either.End result is that the used and unused Advanced filters when in the trash (bye bye £20) and I am now debating whether it's even worth sticking with this Aqua Optima kit at all.

Smooth water
Gives "SMOOTH" water. Water tastes silky after filtering with these.
