Huge, well made, sturdy, for really large people
Sturdy. Very thick & supportive. Feel secure sitting on it. I’m 365lbs, 5’5”. Only thing is my feet don’t touch when fully sitting back. I have on lowest setting. Very wide. Lots of space on either side. Took some trees to figure out how to lower arm, after together. Works better when seated on it. I haven’t put arm down as lots of room. Bucket secures well. I even had to slightly loosen 2 screws on bucket holder under the seat on one side, to be able to slide the bucket in easily. Still quite secure. Great handle & lid. Bucket not flimsy. Held all night up & down & lots of room left. Recommend highly, but for taller person, definitely. Well constructed. Took me 2 hours to put together. I can’t get on floor so used box to hold while placing together. All parts there. The thing with the duel wrench with the slotted end-horrible for using. Should fit nut, as with other end. Instructions well made. Not complicated. One of the screw holes didn’t want to line up for seat holder. Spouse pushed in in & I was able to finish. He also had to pull-force back rest into holes. Much too narrow. He got it in. Recommend having a strong person for that. Would’ve purchased smaller seat, so feet rest. But for huge people this is a good seat/chair.

Well made but make sure it will fit. See below.
Well made but make sure it will fit. If your toilet base and bowl stick out too much or form a 'V' it may not fit. Because my toilet base does come to a 'V' and the bottom of the bowl is also pointed, the commode hits the toilet when the legs are raised beyond the lowest leg setting but unless you are very tall the lowest setting is fine, but your feat my not touch the floor. I also had to remove the real toilet seat underneath the commode because the legs of the commode in the rear were 1/2" off the floor. Once I removed the seat and set the commode legs on the lowest setting, voila! I am 5'6" and my legs are dangling 2" above the floor when set at the lowest hole. But that's ok, if I want a small stool or a block nearby I can have one nearby. It was easy to get up from even with my legs dangling. I hope it will be easy when I have major surgery this month. The commode must be assembled but it's pretty easy. It has nicely printed directions but you still need some common sense.I think it's well made and it should work fine with a small block or stool. See the images below once assembled.

Only problem is too high to transfer safely
Great product, has drop arms & a wide seat base & is adjustable BUT it's too high to transfer from my bed or my wheelchair even when my PT & I set it as low as possible. We'll made. Easy to assemble. Can't say I recommend it, idea was good but since my left leg is totally "non weight bearing" & so is my left shoulder, making it impossible at time to "pivot" it's basically useless, but box was thrown away & unable to return, will keep for possible future use. Don't to purchase if you can stand & pivot, well made & sturdy. It may indeed work well for you. Worth the money.

Comfortable and sturdy
I was recently in an accident and this has worked very well. I’m a heavy set lady and this holds me up well. It easy to get on and off easily. Very light weight to move around. This is well worth the money.

Multipurpose
This commode can also be used over a toilet seat effectively becoming a temporary raised seat. It is easily moved to accommodate the patient. The bucket is easy to remove, clean, and replace. The commode can also be used for a shower seat, just remove the bucket. The arms can be moved to make transferring the patient from bed or chair easier. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. Overall it is a good value for the money.
