The two speaker outputs are actually just one wired in parallel, add the two impedances together and divide your answer by 4. Hooking up 2x2ohm to each will result in a 1 ohm load. This will destroy the amp pretty fast. Here are some possible combinations that you can use with this amp. 1x4ohm = 4ohm load 2x8ohm = 4ohm load 1x4ohm, 1x8ohm = 6ohm load 1x8ohm =8ohm load 2x16ohm = 8ohm load You can wire the subwoofers in series to get a total of 4 ohms and use a single output on the amp.

Q: Does thus have a lowpass and highpass filter? Woukd it work well to power 4 clark synthesis t209 shakers

Yes it has low & high pass filters. This amp has more than enough power for any subwoofer. I'm very pleased with this purchase

I cross mine at 50Hz on the Dayton Audio amp at about 70% gain.
