Great 2 in 1 Chromebook
Easy setup for a serious Chromebook experience. Pairs perfectly with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL making cross-device computing a breeze. It's app based & Web based interface are very similar to any Android experience & while more expensive than most Chromebooks, it's capably running Linux (using the developer option during setup). The screen has great display, with very solid hinges for tablet mode use. No issues with heat dissipation & while the storage isn't huge, it's capable for most tasks- also easy to extend via the USB C ports. Fast charging, great battery life so far. Really enjoying this for daily use in place of my Windows 11 pc

Great Chromebook
Practically perfect in every way.Nice screen, nice keyboard, fairly snappy performance, runs Linux and Android apps okay, battery life is fine. It's nice to be able to have more than 5 tabs open at a time! The Ryzen 3 3250C CPU is a good balance of battery, $ and speed. It seems a bit more fragile than some of my previous Chromebooks, so the included padded case is a comfort and works great (though I might sew on a strap...?) It has been out for about 100 of my son's Taekwondo classes and 5 road trips and still going strong!I managed to catch this model on a great sale, so am even happier! My previous two Chromebooks were by Asus - Acer may have won me over more solidly (given the discount! ;-)

Excellent, affordable, machine for existing Android users - some issues with Hulu Live TV
After having an Acer Aspire laptop for almost 8 years, it was time to replace it with a new machine. I typically only use my laptop for basic tasks - surfing the web, email, WhatsApp, facebook, etc - so my technical needs are not heavy. I didn't want to spend $600+ on another laptop, so I considered a Chromebook instead since a good one can be had for around $275-350 when on-sale.The most value from this machine will be for users who are already Android smart-phone users. While Android and Chrome OS are different operating systems, my Google Pixel phone and Acer Chromebook are completely in-sync - my photos, emails, notes, apps, and data are completely integrated. Having a Chromebook actually makes it much easier to organize my photos and complete tasks that are sometimes more difficult on a phone/small screen. While this is still a useful tool for folks looking to have a basic, stripped down, laptop for email, surfing the web, and social media - this machine really shines for existing Android users. I'm happy I made the switch from Apple to Android, as this has made this Chromebook a much more valuable machine for me.My complaints are limited - for whatever reason, Hulu Live TV does not work on this Chromebook (but does work on my Android based Google Pixel). That's really my only major complaint so far...I did add a 4 port USB hub - which was only $6 on amazon - so that I have more USB ports available when using my Chromebook (it only has 1 USB port and 1 USB C port for connecting devices). I'd recommend also getting one as you may need it to connect additional devices.A nice bonus was that my Chromebook 514 came with a travel case/sleeve, which was a nice touch and not something I expected. So that was a good bonus. So I think this product is good for someone like me that already uses an Android smart-phone and wants a cheap laptop-type device to complete basic tasks and supplement a smart phone. I wouldn't buy this machine if you are expecting a Windows based laptop that can complete any and all tasks. I plan on using this for when I travel and to have a separate non-work device in my office to use. For the price, I have few complaints.

Great for casual use.
I purchased the RyzeYn 3, 14" WUXGA. Has a touchscreen, solid camera, decent streaming video quality, easily setup as an android customer through Google account, syncs to phone seamlessly, has Chromecast, very responsive, this is a great bang for your buck laptop as an adult user. Takes about an hour to charge from dead to full with supplied charger. Charge lasts longer than expected. The hinge is 180°, which is nice when laying down. Will update review if any problems arise but for now, highly recommended.

The many Constraints of Life in this Age.
I bought this Chromebook at the beginning of the year. I have had a few in previous years and since i am not a rocket scientist, it and they, have always met my needs. Since Chrome sells Chromebooks with a built in oblosence by limiting the number of System Updates that are electronically applied to the machine. I took all of my other Chromebooks to the recycle dump in my City. I had previously soaked them in hot soapy water and then left them in the trunk of my car through the summer. They were now paperweights. I am loving my new Chromebook. It works well and allows me to link to other necessary tools for this day and age. The Chrome operating system is adequate for my needs and wants. The price of the unit was reasonable based on the knowledge that it has a 'drop dead' date - based on the operating system updates. I think this is reasonable to have this knowledge. I can work with that. I don't know that exact date, but I am sure Acer will let me now when Chrome has put out the last of the system updates on this version of the operating system. But, should I need to buy new hardware cause you updated the software. Which brings me to the chicken and the egg. Something else to ponder while time just ticks away.

Reboots randomly and frequently.
I've owned several Chromebooks and loved them, but this one truly sucks. It has an annoying habit of rebooting randomly, making it nearly unusable. And, it's happening more frequently. It's fully updated, but the problem still remains. Next step: fight with Amazon or Acer to replace it.

Built Right...Go ACER
I was wondering the heck i was going to get for $300 bucks. Acer did not disappoint me. I love the size, the feel and the quick response of the system. The display did not disappoint me either. I was also not expecting the protective case, thank you. I use it all day to surf, read, write, basic stuff. Nice built not flimsy Definitely worth buying.
