Easy to install and I like the look,its spreading a wide white beam and the pir is quite responsive,kicks in from dusk till dawn with the right adjustments

As a light this would score 5 stars, nice diffused light and adjustable for angle.It is however a really horrible one to fit!I have fitted my share of outside lights and often meet the problem of the designer making no consideration of the installer, with fiddly screws and tight spaces to route and connect the wires in.At first this looks easy the terminal strip unclips to allow connection but, I found it impossible to get the front fitted flush to the backplate. Eventually I gave up struggling in situ and took it down to check it out on the bench, even with the integral terminal block removed and just the internal wires the backplate still did not want to sit flat.Something (I suspect it is the white control unit itself) binds stopping a good seal. Another 5mm depth on the back box would solve it. I gave up trying to get a perfect seal and drilled a small drainage hole in the bottom of the plastic back plate, luckily my light is sheltered by the gutter above so any poor seal should not be exposed to water.

I bought this light to go over my front door.The PIR was extremely sensitive and kept picking up people in the street.From day one it suffered the fault where it flashed 7/8 times with shortening periods after being activated, this could be very distracting as I have glass in my front door.I checked the life expectancy of 15000 hours it didn't get anywhere close to that failing after 3 years.

Like others have noted too little space for everything in back box. Cable in/out would have been a major problem however I removed the PIR and used remote switch. Covered PIR hole with blind grommet and looks good but more vitally proving more space for cable in/out. No cable entry on sides and one rear grommet hole that would never take two cables. Ordered 4 at first but need 5 to cover 12 m wide patio with even light. Looks good, but probably overpriced for quality. Still not easy to sit flat due to design.

Replaced old lantern type exterior light with this new Sebson unit. Easy to install and light output is excellent. One criticism it is not obvious where the adjustment screws are located ( you swivel the sensor cover down ) this is not shown in the instructions. So far I am really pleased with this light.
