Very easy to put together. Feels very sturdy. We have a large water slide blow up folded in it and there is still space for a significant amount of more outdoor items. We don’t have a lock on it but that has not been an issue. Our weather is HOT and the items inside seem to be fine and protected from the little rain we have gotten this summer.

I received this storage unit exactly on the day foretold. The box was heavy. So, it took some effort to get it in the house. Once inside, I opened the box so that I could get at the individual panels and not have to move the whole heavy box. Putting the container together was a breeze! I really didn't even need the directions that came with it. I took the base to where I wanted to place the storage unit. Then, I started sliding the side panels into their individual slots. The lid did take two people to place in position. But, it went on really easily once properly positioned. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, maybe even less than 5. The container is nice looking and sturdy. You can sit on it and the lid doesn't move at all. It holds a lot. Since placing all my outside pillows in the box, it has rained. And, I mean rained heavily! There is absolutely no indication of leakage inside the box. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others.

Very happy with this storage on our dock and looks nice! Large capacity for life vests, towels and outdoor cushions. Very sturdy and was very easy to assemble.

Wish I could give this box 5 stars. It's a decent box that assembles easily and seems like it's design was done by a structural engineer and not just a plastic mold machine worker. The hinge is definitely not the weak link and the lid only attaches to them when it's out of it's normal range that the straps restrict.The lid sits in the closed position fairly well. What would have gotten this box 5 stars is if the bottom of the box was double wall like the rest. It's definitely a weak point. As long as it's not used for heavy objects or slid around it should be okay but it's not up to par with the rest of the box. As the sections slide together really easily, it could use some caulk or sealant in a few places to assure that they stay in place. It's not perfect but it's not something that you will break forcing together or sending right back after unboxing because you can tell it's going to have a short life span. Edit; I see that another review states that the box leak water in while opening. It does but if you open it slowly, justs a few drops come in.

150 gallon box comes with manufacture defects in the molding! The front and back pieces will not seat properly in the bottom piece leaving a 1/2” to 1” gap on almost every seam. Amazons customer service would only partially refund $52 on a $165 item (making this a $113 crappy deck box that will require some modification to function properly). Item ships freight so it’s not like you can return the item as a UPS drop off. They also offered a free replacement - but READ the other reviews since May 2025 - this is a common defect. Whoever it molding these pieces is doing so incorrectly.

Now this is a damp good storage box. Easy assembly. Strong and plenty of room and all for less than £100 notes. Have it you know it makes sense.
