Install was easy- followed instructions and trimmed back cover as indicated in pictures. Using with crucial p3 4tb ssd and achieving advertised drive speeds and storage capacity. Great upgrade.

Works great for my legion go. Only reason I swapped it out for side one with ribbon cable was that i wanted to add copper heatsinks to my 2280 ssd. Other than that this fit great with 2 thermal pads an possibly copper plate heatsinks. Mine was a bigger type of heat sink that i had to modify to work with the 2 vented backplates that i purchased from here

I did get this installed pretty easily and paired it with a Samsung 2TB 980 Pro. There was some trimming needed to the internals, all of which were on the back lid, pics attached. I can't absolutely blame the adapter, as the Legion Go is not designed to house a 2280 drive, but I eventually had to uninstall the drive and go back to the oem stock drive, the transfer speeds and absolutely intense overheating was just way too much to handle. The Legion Go constantly overheated and crashed, even when just booting up and idling with no activity. Again, not positive if it is the adapter for sure, but the drive works perfectly fine with no issues in my PS5 and my Lenovo 9i Laptop. I'm also not a huge fan of having the drive basically loose in the console, with no real way to permanently and securely mount it. While this adapter technically works, I can't recommend it as a viable solution unfortunately.

I, like many others, bought the 2tb version of the legion go at microcenter. What microcenter doesn't tell you is they use a horrible drive that runs incredibly hot.I bought a heat sink to deal with the drive, installed it, and it didn't help at all. When gaming, the legion go would just crash. When I checked windows event viewer, it says "drive one removed" or something like that.I decided to take the plunge on a 4tb 2280 ssd, so I got this adapter. Installed the adapter and SSD, and bam! NO MORE OVERHEATING. And I used the original legion go backplate!Well worth buying, it's nice to play games without having a literal fan pointed at the back of my legion go, and they don't make 4tb SSD's in 2242.

Doesnt work

For what it's worth, I'm very satisfied with this product. It was simple to install, and the product was perfect-fitting and lastly, the connectors felt like a certified connector and my NVMe felt clicked in really solid and ice not experienced any issue with heat dissipation but eventually I will replace the back cover. Install was super easy. I used a hand razor knife to cut away the inner protruding part of the back cover just for immediate enjoyment.
