If you need to upgrade those headlight connectors, these made my life a thousand times easier
They are excellent plugs that are made of a high quality polymer shell, a very tight fitting rubber cap to weatherize the back of the plug while allowing the wires to come through, and a ceramic where the blades actually are. They are high quality wires, I was pleasantly surprised, and they do come prestripped. These will fit a 5.75 (5x4-3/4) sealed halogen beams found on your classic Chrysler and Mopar offerings, which was really just awesome in my book. Used them to replace the originals on my 1963, and frankly after years and multiple "repairs" it was time, and for basically no money. I cannot speak on the butt connectors as I crimped and soldered the wires together, but the blades they used look nice and hold a memory even after multiple removals.

Seems decent
Seemed more heavy duty than the old one that was half melted and loose. Decent quality.

Wires are copper and thicker than the OEM wires. Didn't come with wire crimps.
It appears the 2 pack doesn't come with wire crimp connectors? Why only on the 4 pack? Otherwise they seem good enough to replace old melted headlight sockets. The wires are thick and copper on mine purchased in fall of 2025. They are also pre-stripped so you don't even need a wire stripping tool, just pull the sleeve off the end and push it into a crimp connector and crimp it down, and done! Make sure to use electrical grease in the sockets before connecting to the bulb. The copper wiring inside these is actually thicker than the wire in the OEM Toyota headlight wires. A 14-16ga wire crimp will work with these thicker wires.

A good replacement for a melted socket. Easy to install.
I only required one, but these are good replacements sockets for a dirt bike enduro headlight. There is plenty of pigtail and after I made them the right length, I soldered them into place and covered the three soldered wire connections in heat shrink. My original socket melted because of a crash/short. it also took out my regulator-rectifier at the same time, plus blew my taillamp and the headlight bulb. It was an extreme example of cyclical failure. After I finally figured out what was wrong, and replaced the lamp socket, I was able to diagnose the other failures and repair those.

Fix your burnt, melted headlight connectors
I recently bought a 2001 toyota 4runner that had non functioning headlights. Upon investigation the connectors which were the original Factory connectors were melted and charred. I bought these based on the fact that the wires were a bigger gauge and it was designed to handle high amounts of current I figured this would make it so it didn't happen again. The pigtail is long enough and all I had to do was use butt connectors and crimp them to the factory wires after stripping them and I have functioning headlights now!
