Great value shaker. This simple design ensures that protein powder can be shaken and broken down easily and the bottle and parts are easy to clean. Never had issues with leakage, highly recommend this shaker bottle.

Leak proof, very good quality. Contigo appears to be a good brand, bought another bottle from them and that too is very good.Easy to open as well.

Positives1) Has a quality feel to it but it is heavier than your typical bottle, not a big issue.2) Definitely leakproof design, probably the best feature. I've filled the bottle plenty of times and just thrown in my bag with confidence.3) Shaker mixes powder fine4) The black design looks goodNegatives1) Thinner than your average shaker so it is hard to put your hand inside to clean even if your hand is not large. There doesn't seem to be a benefit to why the bottle should be as thin as it is. This means its quite long too.2) Material seems harder to clean, even with my dishwasher the bottle sometimes smells. I have experienced this with some alternatives, some being fine but this one is the worst of the ones I have owned. Best way way to stop the smell is to freeze the bottle.3) I find the clip unnecessarily oversized/cumbersomeI rated this a 3 at first but changed this to a 4 as I think the quality is good to warrant a second purchase. I think it's the feel and the lid is that much better compared to other shakes I've had.

After the lid on my Blender bottle split (I guess from over screwing, which reveals weak design and poor quality materials), I decided to give Contigo a try after much research and comparing of reviews. The Contigo bottle quality is far superior imho. I like the thickness of the material on the bottle and lid. It feels very robust. The Blender bottle with its thin plastic casing was very clanky with its steel shaker inside and quite annoying. The lid on the Contigo is very solid and the material and design don't allow you to over screwing it. I cannot vouch for the plastic shaker ball that's included as I opted to combine the steel shaker element from my Blender bottle with this Contigo bottle, which I believe is the most efficient combination available to me. There is 100% no spillage of any kind when shaking. Very easy to clean the bottle after use. Haven't made use of the clasp (or whatever it's called), but is a decent size and again appears to be as robust as the rest of the design. Very happy and seriously cannot fault it. Contigo will now be my go-to brand.

I can never fault Contigo. Good quality. Doesn't leak. No plastic smells or tastes.
