A good looking stand with options
This is a nice piece of gear. The extra mounting pieces have made this my go to mic stand. I had the old screw on two piece type it worked fine for years until it just didn't it wouldn't tighten any longer which caused alot of vibration noise with loud music. I chose this particular one to attach to my booth table rather then the road case, its length allows a farther reach, I can now place mic to the side instead of just in front of me, it also doubles as a at-home phone stand to record video. Which is something I do more if now. One more added plus it has a rubbery coating along the whole thing which resists showing scratches.

Works!
I decided to upgrade my home office setup with a separate microphone, and didn't want to lose valuable desktop space to a freestanding microphone. This gooseneck arm is flexible enough that I can move things into place with ease, and solid enough that when I set it in place it doesn't wobble or move. Installation is simple.

Point where mic attaches to the pole broke
Update: The seller of this product reached out to me after posting the review and offered to send a replacement product free of charge. While the original was a disappointment, the response of the seller and their resolution of the issue (without me even asking, they took the initiative) was beyond top notch and I'm thoroughly pleased with the outcome. It broke on the first day and is currently held in place with electrical tape. I didn't bother with a return as it's serving the purpose, but super disappointed that the mount broke on the first tightening.

Not stiff enough for true mounting freedom from the sides.
There is a lot going for this mic holder/snake. Simple, sleek, all adapters and phone holster, can fix mic positioning issues, not too expensive, etc. The problem is, the photos and reviews didn't really address the reality of the stand. It is designed for vertical use, and the free-will bendy snakeyness of it, is really for subtle adjustments in a vertical fashion. I read claims of "this thing is strong" and saw photos of it fairly bent over and instantly thought, "Oh, well it bends freely and its strong so it can mount my mic any way I want." This is not reality. The snake could be a lot stiffer, and you shouldn't expect to mount your mic from the side at full extension. IT WILL DROOP. It will hardly handle the mic let alone a mic filter. I have reworked things into a satisfying position, but without my mic filter. It seems to have settled into its spot after some slight drooping, but I will have to buy a lightweight "over the mice" pop filter. This stand indeed fixed my streaming/content mic positioning issue clamped to my desk from the side, just in a different way than originally intended and not flawlessly with my pop filter included.

Glad I bought this one!
I ordered this to hold a little 2x3" Neewer light. It is so sturdy it is able to hold my much larger 5"x7" light! Came with the threads I needed right out of the box, plus another adapter and microphone holder and holder for another light. VERY sturdy, I was afraid when I bought this it would droop, but as soon as I felt it I could tell it wouldn't. Nice big, solid clamp. Only thing that would have been nice is if the clamp had a rubber foot to keep from hurting whatever it was clamped too. Exactly what I wanted, easy 5 stars - long but not too long. The only thing that would be like of nice is if there was an adapter to stick the light arm on a tripod instead of the clamp - I thought maybe that's what the second adapter was for but it is just to put something else on the top. But, it might be too long to sit on a tripod right anyway. I almost didn't buy this, and now I want a second one!

Perfect for a General Use Lectern
Installed this stand on a general purpose lectern. It gets use at least once per week by people of widely varying height. The neck stays in place after adjustment. Unlike a conventional goose neck which growls and crunches while being repositioned, this neck re-forms quietly. The mounting system is logical, easy to use, and highly effective. And the price of this system is very reasonable. It's a great value.

Bought this thinking it would be strong enough to hold the Shure sm7B mic - but alas, it's not. I know it's a very heavy mic, but the item description led me to believe it would do the job. But it's drooping! Grand for light items like an iphone or a light microphone, but stay away if you're using the Shure. Also, this item took a very long time to arrive. And to return it, postage works out at €24 - almost as expensive as the mic Stand itself! I'm now put off making any similar purchases..

Muy buen soporte tres meses usándolo en un templo continuamente y es muy resistente y se adapta a que se lo acomode el predicador o quien hable

Weak construction, the bottom is only attached through a single pinch fit. It broke at the base immediately while putting it together. Returned the same day.
