Q: Would this work for blending in a blue ink stain?

Not sure about that but I got a dark stain on a new light jacket and I took it to place that stitched embroidery patches and designs on clothing. I picked out a nice design and it covered the stain.

Q: How many ounces of dye does one box make?

I used 3 gallons of water, per instructions

Q: Is this a hand wash or machine wash dye?

You can do it either way but it can stay in your washer for a while. I do it in the sink snd then bleach my sink. Once I have rinsed several times I put my things in the washer and run through a full cycle. Then I use a washer cleaner solution to get all the dye out of my washer.

Q: Do I need to buy a color dye fixative with this powder version ? If yes, which one

I didn’t use one and so far it still looks great
