Cute style
The color was what initially caught my eye when browsing for headphones. The case was an unexpected bonus and comes in handy,The downside...one of the earbuds stopped working within weeks. If you jiggle it you can get it to work for a bit then it stops again.

Poorly designed product.
The alarms on this clock are reasonably easy to set (nothing special; but nothing bad). The display is clear and simple. I appreciate the concept of backup batteries, too. However, the light is bright, bright white, which is so vibrant in the dark you might as well switch on a flashlight, but so dim during sunrise and until dusk that you'll never wake up to it. No option to change the color. Also, no option to turn off the alarm (assuming there is one. Mine didn't sound anything. Not sure if the alarm in it was broken or if the manufacturer changed the model since some of these reviews were posted; the manual doesn't mention alarm sounds). The light on the 2nd alarm switches itself off after less than a minute, too (didn't test time on alarm 1, but I'd expect it to function the same). If you don't wake up immediately at the slightest change in room ambiance then you won't wake up to this. If you need complete darkness to fall asleep, you'll never get there in the first place.Note on the white light... it's not a natural sort of light, like other sunrise clocks tend to have (orange, yellow, red), but a bright white (cold & blue) LED, so if you're someone who needs to shut off all electronic screens some time before going to bed, this is not the clock for you. It will keep you awake.Essentially, what you have here is a digital clock with a bright, 10-second nightlight built in. Good concept, poor execution. Wouldn't recommend this clock except to people looking specifically for a digital alarm clock with additional light alarm capabilities.

Lack of features and a sub-par sunrise simulation
Cons:-Only one alarm sound, and the volume can't be changed.-The display can't be dimmed, it's just full blast (I had to put tape over it, but it still came through)-The dome has a constant faint light (probably coming through the clock display)-Wake-up light is too faint and coldPros:Has a color-change cycle button

Bright and exactly as it advertises
I got this on sale, and it's well worth the price. it's cheap so it doesnt have every little fancy feature the $45 ones have but it doesnt claim to either. It does EXACTLY what it says on the box - other reviewers are incorrect. The color of ths light can be changed, set to the color you prefer or put on a rainbow gradient. There are two alarms - one with optional sunrise, one without. The alarm is loud and there is a snooze. The light gradually goes from off to on 30 mins before the alarm, achieving full brightness when the alarm goes off. Mine is set to a calm blue but there is a lighter blue, yellow, white and others for those who like brighter optioins. it's not just white. The USB ports work and the batteries are for backup in case of a power surge or something; the alarm itself plugs in. And somebody complained about the numbers flashing - that means you're setting the time, not that the alarm is broken. it's SUPPOSED to do that. Read the actual product description and you'll be happy with the product, instead of leaving bad reviews based on incorrect assumptions of products double this ones price.

Thanks but ... No Thanks
I really like the whole concept of waking to a simulated sunrise - that is what our brains are supposed to do, and has been the only way i've ever woken up in the morning "successfully". That being said, this clock brings the therapy to the budget buyers like myself, previously unaware of the therapy. However, the first thing i noticed when i plugged it in was the display was glaringly bright. Okay ... if i am trying to wake up to gradual and subtle changes in light brightness why would you start off with a constant and unnatural bright light ..? I gave it 3 stars for the ability to choose colors and the powerful USB charger... again... however.. if you have the alarm plugged into the wall (comes with adapter) then one cord is in the front and one is in the back. So now i have a glow in the dark octopus mess of cords to wake up to. Gee, thanks. The color , even frozen, is not very frozen either. I'll upgrade as soon as i can

Cool white numbers and nightlight are potential sleep disruptors.
I was excited to try this clock, since light pollution disrupts my sleep. The nightlight feature is very easy to activate with a light tap of the dome, but unfortunately both the nightlight and the clock’s time display use a very bright, cool white light: not a great choice for the bedside. I liked the two-alarm feature but the buttons on the back were so tiny similar to one another, I think you would fumble to turn off/on the correct alarm. The unit is very cute and a nice size but I returned it before exploring the rest of the sound and light features (purchased and returned at Target, not Amazon)

Display light is to bright
Like most of the reviews state, the display light is to bright. It's not as good as the dim red lights that Alarm Clocks should be. I am probably going to get a bag of butterscotch candy over the weekend and use a could of the red wrappers and some double sided tape to fix this probablem
