Great for tile if you work slow and keep them cool!
Some tile is HARD to drill through. I needed to install shower safety bars and neither my regular drill bits nor my carbide masonry bits could make a hole. I decided to try this set and I'm glad I did! I used the smallest bit first to drill the (12) pilot holes. I drilled at a very low speed, dipping the tip of the drill bit in a glass of water every 30 seconds to cool it off. It was a slow process. I was concerned that the bit would wear out and tried a couple of times to switch to a carbide masonry bit to finish the holes, but those just wouldn't penetrate the tile. My concern was unfounded. The smallest bit from this set made it through all 12 holes, slow and steady. Then I enlarged the holes with each next size up until they were big enough. That went much more quickly. It seems that the initial holes are very tough, but enlarging holes is easier. Even my carbide masonry bits worked for that. These bits are a great value, and work wonderfully if you take your time and make sure they don't overheat (by dipping in water). High end diamond bits would have probably saved time, but cost at least 10x as much.

Phenomenal, especially for the price.
I only bought these to mount a tv over my fireplace. Honestly my hopes weren’t too high but they did great, it took me about an hour of drilling, overhead and off balance, I might have applied too much pressure but a little water to cool the bits and it ate right though the brick. They’re a bit chewed up after use but for the price they did an amazing job.

MASONARY DRILL BITS
These masonary drill bits are great. I used the small drill bit all day on cement blocks in my garage and it went through each block with ease. It was helpful with the install of multiple wall hangers in my garage. Great for DIY projects and more.

Garbage!!! Stay Away!!!
These are garbage!!! I have a Dewalt set that I left at a job sight by accident (must go back and get them). So, I ordered these from Amazon Prime next day delivery. Long story short, these can't drill threw a 5/8 inch thick piece of subway tile. Even when wet drilling with an impack setting these over heat and take a long time to punch threw. In comparasion to my other Masonry Drill Bit sets that takes seconds to drill threw the same piece of work. Don't waste your Time nor Money!

Does it’s job
No bit lasts long in porcelain tile but these out perform Bosch bits hands down. Averaged 3 holes between bits and Bosch bit made it one and a start

Ok budget bits.
Received in a box containing all 10 bits in a cheap, but decent protective case which slides open like a drawer. The case tray has 5 slots to store all 10 bits. The bits are metal with an arrow tip, presumably carbide. The assortment is as follows: 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" (One of each), and four 1/4". They are meant for wet use and should be cooled frequently (5-10 secs continuous drilling). Don't wait till you see steam/vapor or hot color (orange/yellow/red). I lost 2 tips that fell off that way on the first use. Fortunately, one was a 1/4" and had 3 more (Maybe that's why they give you 4), but also the only 5/16". Not a good way to start when you lose 20% on the first use. I used them to drill through stone and tile walls. I guess they are ok for the occasional home DIY user but keep your expectations low and use water cooling a lot. I doubt they will withstand frequent heavy use. Ironically, I don't see it listed anymore (When I click on the item in my order, other assortments pop up with different combinations. I didn't expect much (10 bits for less than$6), and thus not disappointed. Thank you.
