This is indeed Silicone-insulated wire!
The item description and the product title both say that the wire is silicone insulated. The included product information sheet stated that it is PVC insulation. I contacted the seller, and they explained that the wrong fact sheet had been included. When I looked at and felt of the insulation, it does seem to really be silicone. This is very important to me, as I intend to use the wire to repair a ceiling fixture. The heat in them would melt PVC, while silicone would remain pliable.

Excellent wire for projects around the house or on the job.
this wire is great for DC projects. The wire is very flexible and does not have a mind of it's own as far as twisting up on you, if you know what I mean. Could be used as speaker wire also as long as the distance is not to far.

20 Gauge Tinned Copper Silicone Rubber Insulated
Very nice wire. Takes tinning perfectly, very flexible, 600V rated. I do some electrical repair of some older stuff and it looks very nice when done. Ill be ordering a lot more.

Works well
I've used this for repairs in several vintage electronic units & it works well. It's easy to solder, & has good insulation. It's nice to have multiple colors in one package.
