Caffè Borbone Coffee Undose in Filter Paper, Gold Mix

Good flavour, value for money. Ordered repeatedly over last 2 yrs.

First time using Caffe Borbone Gold Blend and it won't be the last. What attracted me to it was "Neapolitan" of which I am no stranger. I have been using one of those funny little pots that you put coffee into the top and hot water into the bottom which is then turned upside down. to make the coffee. My problen when I bought my E.S.E. pod machine was finding an equivalent taste. All were mostly too weak. That was until I found Caffe Borbone Gold. The coffee has quite an authentic, Neapolitan taste I was looking for, quite strong but smooth and sweet. I make it as an espresso and add warm milk and hot water to 180ml for a milky Americano which is perfect for me at all hours of the day. But I think the pods will work equally well as a Lungo. As I make it I get quite strong body, milk chocolate and minimum acidity. Just one criticism: The pods don't have the green printing designating it as compostable as illustrated in the product description. But that's something of a mute point because it's the coffee that matters. Overall, highly recommended and a well deserved 5 stars.

This is undrinkable coffee. i have a de’longhi machine for a year and it’s always made perfectly fine coffee. these pods however are awful, the coffee comes out completely burnt. Not fit for drinking.

very happy with these coffee pods , the taste is very smooth and tasty, how an espresso should taste . out of all the colours avaliable (We have tried them all ) the GOLD is the best in every aspect. they come in good amount sizes, 50 or 100 pods, we always order the 100. and very easy to use we continue to order regularly Very happy customer

When I peeled off the handmade expiry date label (reading May 2023) and held it up to the light it was covering up a label with an expiration date of July 2022. Not sure why this would have been changed as it wasn't even out of date and I doubt coffee should last for over a year from now anyway but just found it suspicious! Coffee has a nice flavour and gave a bit of a crema. A lot quicker and easier than loose grounds. Make sure you use the single cup arm if using a machine otherwise it doesn't brew properly and comes out really weak (took me a while to figure out what I was doing wrong!).

I took a chance buying these as I wasn't sure if they were compatible with my breville one touch. I do have a second smaller puck designed to take capsules so they fit perfectly. The coffee is great, not too strong and no mess. Capsules can be put in the garden or on the compost

Très bon café.

Great, rich tasting Italian espresso that's easy to use and does not go stale because each pod is individually wrapped in a sealed packet. As good as, and much cheaper than, other Italian brands. Just make sure your machine can work with ESE pods.

Für das bessere Gewissen haben wir diese Pads als Alternative für Kapseln bestellt und was soll ich sagen? Sehr leckerer Kaffee zu einem guten Preis, sofort noch eine andere Mischung bestellt die auch sehr gut war.
