Review: Awful product - DO NOT BUY - Absolutely awful product. Do not buy. 1. The product is absolutely tiny, if using it as a cooler, you could just about fit a 330ml can in it. If using it to make ice cubes, they are so tiny they melt within seconds in a drink. 2. Its insanely difficult to fill up without getting any water in the centre part, just dont even bother 3. the seal is awful, if you get to the point where you have finally made ice 'chips' you can put them in the centre and "refill" the edge part, all the water leaks through, and melts the teeny ice 'chips' you so carefully created before. save yourself a fiver and buy a bag of ice from sainsburys Review: Ice Genie Cube Maker Dual-use - Initially a little difficult to remove the inner lining to release the ice cubes but worked well once trick learnt. Make sure you leave sufficient room to stand Ice cube maker upright in freezer.

DOesn't really work. Nice idea which could work if made properly but it isn't.
Doesn't really work. The inner cylinder isn't water tight and hence all the water seeps into the main compartment so you essentially get one large ice disc (which I've been smashing into shards and using that way instead). It's kind of a waste of space in the freezer too, if you have a small one, as the inner chamber isn't really big enough to store anything, if you fill it with ice cubes then the seepage problem merely leads to having one big solid ice-blob. This is simply a rip off. I reckon a functioning version could be developed but hey, Consumerism.

Dont belive the ad
you may have seen the ad like I did and be tempted . Do NOT BUY . It is a total waste of money if not short of false advertising . You con not fill it without water falling to the bottom . The principle does not work. It requires a water tight seal around the wall of the outside and this does not happen. Water just pools in the bottom creating a slab of ice. Plus the ice that forms is so small is just turns to slush. Trust me just use an ice cube tray

Good idea
Good idea but bigger than expected so don’t fit the caravan freezer

Poor quality
Nice idea works as a wine cooler but doesn’t really work as an ice maker. The inside piece is too tight so hard to remove

While the idea seems great the actual product just doesn't work
While the idea seems great the actual product just doesn't work. The ice cubes if you get it to make any at all are tiny and melt quickly. The plastic insert will not come out easily once frozen and that's probably because there's a big circle of ice in the bottom of the container where it's filtered down from the holes where it should be making ice cubes. Filling it...well there's tiny holes around the edges but more water seems to spill over the edges than anywhere else. It really is a complete waste of money. I honestly would give it no stars if that option was available.
