I heard having something sour can temporarily alleviate anxiety by distracting you. I wanted to see if it'd work so I started with Warheads. I'd say for me, Warheads provide a little jolt but not to the extent that it made my face pucker, contort, or twitch. I found that the sourness actually wore off quickly and I was left with a sweet treat and a little disappointment. In my journey to find the right sour treat I found Final Boss. I bought the Level 3 Strawberry flavor; the gummies are indeed sticky to touch, but they had a nice chew! I'd say less chewy than a traditional gummy bear but still quite satisfying in its own way. They're a lot less sour than Warheads, but actually I really enjoyed it as a snack. It had great strawberry flavor mingled with a little bit of tartness, almost reminiscent of an unripe strawberry (but better tasting than that of course). I don't think these have the shock level I was looking for but I'll try a higher level and maybe that'll work. But I will enjoy these as snacks :)

POWERFUL SOUR. I love these, the flavor is awesome, but sadly I can't keep buying these. 1- too expensive for what you get 2- feels bad for the teeth if you eat to much too soon (which isn't very much) Really, it made my teeth feel weird after a few packs. I don't trust it to not do long term damage if I were to keep eating these. That is some powerful acid on these. I looooove sour things like lemons, so this was a fun treat. I handily defeated the final boss.

So, the first time I ordered these were back in February and thought to myself these are really good, so I'll order more. Today my second order came. Quality was horrible. The strawberries tasted old and if they were on the verge of fermentation. They weren't sour at all. It also appears they have started using cheaper packaging which shows as the very first bag I pulled out was sticky meaning there is at least one bag in there that has broken open. I will say that I have even bought the sampler box from them directly and the level 3 that came today was weaker than the level 1 that comes in the box. I just want a good strong sour candy with the ingredients not tasting old. I do want to try again but I'm afraid that quality control may already be taking a nosedive with this company.

I will admit, so far it’s the most sour candy I’ve had. But it’s not candy. As they say it’s actual dried fruit. My only issue is that it’s extremely expensive for what you’re getting. $30 for less than a pound of it is ludicrous. This is the type of snack that your very high middle class soccer mom would be able to afford regularly. Not something for the average person. The taste is great, and the texture is good. They’re not gummies so they’re not super chewy. But they’re certainly delicious. I’d say level 2 would probably be the best as level 3 was so sour. TL;DR yummy but overpriced

I try ALL sour candy/snacks and all that I have come across, this is by far is my favorite sour snack!

I have had these sour fruit snacks before and when I ordered from the company the first time I ordered the package was phenomenal and the treats were actually sour I ordered the level three from Amazon and they were subpar barely mediocre sour I do not recommend purchasing from this company through Amazon.

My only negative thing to say I will start out with - the candy itself is not dry, it’s sticky. This is because it’s not just hard sugar candy itself actual dehydrated fruit but if you’re not a fan of sticky things then you’ll want to get some gloves and continue to eat because these are that good. It seems to get on the outside of the package as well, probably just a handling issue but that’s my only down side and not worth removing a star to and otherwise flawless sour candy. The flavor of the candy itself is hands down the best I’ve tried. Better than any hard candy you will find. The level 3 sour is pretty solidly sour without losing taste. I have to try the other flavors but the strawberry was amazing. Sour candy is my favorite and I’ve tried most everything and rank this towards the higher end of sour. It is average time wise lasting, but better flavor (I’m guessing it absorbs the strawberry fruit goodness to achieve this) than say a warhead or similar. If you like sour candy itself highly recommend these.
