The Barakah Effect: More with Less

I've read numerous self improvement and productivity books, but this book, Barakah Effect is in a league of its own. For years, I was trapped in 'Hustle Culture,' constantly exhausted (mentally and spiritually) and feeling like my time was slipping through my fingers. The author perfectly explains why more 'hustle' doesn't always mean more 'results.' This book has completely changed how I approach my work, faiith and my family life. The book is substantial and deeply researched, yet it’s filled with practical modern frameworks and diagrams that make it easy to apply. It’s not just a book about working better...it’s a book about living better. If you want to achieve more while maintaining your inner peace and connection to your faith, you need to read this. Truly a masterpiece.

Best book ever for any Muslim or even non Muslim to buy. It’s a book that needs to be Reread over and over again. Hidden gem that will help you connect with Allah and understand our true purpose. The book was good that I had to buy the physical copy after reading it on my kindle.

Bismillah, I downloaded the sample of this book on my Kindle App. I could not get chance to read that for months. Few weeks ago, I was hospitalized and after discharging from the hospital, I got some time to spend it with myself. I started reading different books samples and "The Barakah Effect" came in front of me. After reading few pages, I had no doubt that I am going to buy this. Then I started reading with full concentration. I did not realized before that the author, Mohammed Faris is the one who's productive muslim cartoons were very attractive to me many years back. I went to their website and checked different products and out of curiosity I joined a digital course on "How to Beat Procrastination". I had listen, watched many online stuff on Prostration but this one was the best (to the point). I am writing this all here because I am excited to get what my heart really loved to read, listen and watch. Alhamdulillah I never thought about the BARAKAH from this angle!!! May Allah shower a lot of Barakah in my Life's actions and intentions, and May Allah give a lot of rewards to the author. Aameen

Cannot write anything here that is enough to emphasize how valuable this book has been for me. This explains barakah in a way I think so many Muslims fail to understand. Really helps one to recalibrate their perspective on many things in life and one's purpose and direction - particularly in the West. Very, very good book. Life changing.

Must read book. You will want to read it all. I got this through Amazon prime. Easy read. Cab apply this in life. Alhumdullilah.

Loved this book so much

Loved this book. I did it as an extention to my financial literacy unit for grade 5 students and also as part of my language class. Some great lessons for adults and children alike.

I have read many books on productivity and hustle culture, and over the past decade I found myself living an unfulfilled life battling with constant stress and anxiety. I can't express how grateful I am for this book as it has given me a solid blueprint of how I should be structuring my days whilst living a life filled with barakah and Islamic purpose. I was barely half way through when I started to make small changes in my life as outlined in the book, immediately I started to notice barakah flowing into my days and in my life as a whole like a gushing river. Not even just the physical blessings I've noticed in my life, I can tell you that mentally, I have never been so at peace and spiritually so uplifted. This should be a book studied and read by every student or young executive, I just wished such a beautiful project was available when I was younger but I'm grateful I got to change my life before it was too late. Highly recommend this book. It will change your life.

I feel like this book is written so nicely in a way that there are clear headings and tables and stories. Loved the way it just broke down the content into sizeable chunks to keep me interested and focused. Had some chapter summaries too so you don't have to read the whole chapter, you can look at summary and then read more in depth. Tips were always highlighted, loved the quotes between chapters. You can skim through the book if you don't have time to read everything or aren't much of a reader (although now it's available as audible too) Understood the reason barakah is lost in our lives but to be able to read it in such a direct way was like a shock to me and to use those tips and tap back into your spiritual life. Loved reading about the stories, some of which I had forgotten after listening to them as a kid. I have already started implementing bismillah and intentions to bring in barakah in my actions. Overall, a great read and practical tips to implement in your life. The only two things I didn't like about kindle reading, one was that I couldn't highlight in the box cases of the book and the box as a whole can be "highlighted" but doesn't appear in my highlight list. The other thing was that appendix was really hard to read on kindle and also its like the table is kind of messed up with starting from number 14 and then going back to one.
