LANOLIN 1 lb. USP Grade Anhydrous 100% Pure Skin Moisturizer

I was surprised how scent free this product is. It is virtually scent free, and the scent it does have is only barely detectable even when I smell it right from the jar. It is a good quantity for the price, and tends to melt at body temperature. Upon recieving it I began massaging it into nearly every leather item that I own that I could think of: Belts, wallet, boots, The straps of my RPG-2 rocket carrier backpack, everything! It does turn any light colored leather a darker brown, and may possibly create an oil type stain on some fabrics, BUT leathers that are (vegetable tanned?) that feel dry, stiff, and cardboard like tend to readily accept and absorb this, and begin to soften up and become resilient and pliable. 10/10 WILL buy again!

I purchased this lanolin to kick one of my varieties of body butter up a notch for winter dry skin. This is the first time I have used lanolin, so the scent was something of a surprise although I had read enough about it to be expecting a distinctive odor. It is not off-putting for me, however I’m not sure how my customers will react. Having said that, the results of this product on my skin are absolutely incredible! I think anyone suffering from dry skin will not care about the scent when they discover lanolin’s amazing benefits.I also wanted to say a word about this company. I am picky about where my ingredients are sourced, and I could not find a definitive answer about this lanolin. I found the company’s website and sent them an email asking where the lanolin is sourced. I had an answer quite literally in minutes informing me that it comes from New Zealand. I have never had a company reply to any inquiry that fast! I was beyond impressed! Well done :)

Very softening and moisturizing for hair and skin

I bought this to condition leather. For that purpose it's great.I had so much left over that i tried using it for my dry knuckles at work. While it works well for that too, my coworkers gave me grief about the smell from 5 feet away.It smells a bit like medicine or an old balm. Not *bad* but just not "good."Still worked for my leather so I'm leaving a high rating

Yes it smells slightly of farm but this is easily masked with a little scented lotion. Highly recommend for feet, wear socks after applying it’s a little thick

The media could not be loaded. I've bought tiny tubs of, lanolin for $24+ in the past, but wholly wow, an ENTIRE POUND (16oz) of it for, $10!!?!??? Amazing!!! I love it! I just use it straight from the container as lotion for my legs, tattoos, hands, & lips (as lip balm). The, Peppermint Burt's Bees lip balm I've been using for like, 20 years, has started, irritating my lips, & I had run out of my tiny container of, lanolin, so bought this & yay, soft smooth, non-flaky lips, again!!!As others have mentioned, the smell - yes it stinks when you shove your nose into the tub, but on my lips, right under my nose, I can't smell anything. Also, lanolin is the sebum, from sheep; it's an animal product, so it's gonna have a scent.This lanolin is the exact same, as less for more, lanolin products on here. I'm happy w/ this product, as I've used quite a bit already, & will top up w/ this seller & product, again!
