it's perfect

I needed a case in a hurry. My last once, a Unicorn Beetle, was excellent. But I dropped the phone one time too many and a critical button popped off. My phone was unscathed but I had to remove the case in order to use it. It's a 4 or 5 year old phone. Still in good shape but for how much longer? So I looked for inexpensive and this case fit the bill.I like the kickstand feature but I'm slightly concerned it might be a little too flimsy. Time will tell. Since I've only had the case for a couple days, I'll hold off on rating the features.I'm very pleased with the fit, the cost, and the fact that it was made in Korea, not China. Ordering another one for my wife's phone! Her case (Otterbox) is a little beat up, too.

This case isn't what I expected, but I'm pleased with it. I don't know why I thought this case would be made of lightweight metal, but it's not. It's a beautiful satin finish silver color rubber type case. It's flexible so it slips on the phone without a struggle. It's easy to grip, too. The thin kickstand on the back is made of plastic and it stays put until I gently pull it out. I wouldn't want to drop something on it while it's standing, I think the kickstand would pop off.Since this case was designed and manufactured in Korea by Samsung, it fits like a glove. The ports are easily accessible, as are the camera and fingerprint sensor on the back. It's not loose and it's not dinky.*Tested using U.S MIL-STD-810G METHOD 516.6 procedureI looked it up. This means this case was subjected to one or more of the tests listed in the publicly available MIL-STD-810G document. It should survive at least a 4-foot drop. However, it's up to the manufacturer to decide how strict to be with the test. The case, with a phone inside, may be dropped a few times then checked for damage. The guidelines were not designed for smartphone cases, so the tests can vary a little. I still feel confident that Samsung did not take any shortcuts. I've never bought anything other than Otterbox before now, but I really feel good about this case.

Fits phone nicely into the case. The kickstand seems okay. Only time will tell if it holds up. This was the primary reason for the purchase. The casing seems nice and feels good in my hands.What I did not know is that this has zero screen protection so I had to order something else.I used to purchase the youmaker brand and that came both with kickstand and screen protector. Youmaker does not appear to sell these anymore for the S9 which is why I purchased this unit.

The cover was a perfect fit for my S9. It can be used with a wireless charger. The kickstand is helpful to raise my phone at angle and, when collapsed, it is flushed with the backside of the phone. So, it lays flat on any surface particularly when I charge wireless. The appearance is a bit rugged looking with its raised ridges on the back, but much to my surprise, those ridges assist with gripping, i.e., the phone tends to "stick" to my hand and helps from slipping. Previous covers did not have this feature and I found them to slip off my hand. This cover aids in slippage! I really like this cover.

I gave this to my husband after he had dropped his phone a few times. He's dropped it since but with the Rugged Military Grade Protective Case it almost seems to bounce off the ground. It's very sturdy. He can even use the kickstand to watch a video or movie hands free. He loves it!

Excellent price for the case of my dreams. It is a slim fit so it slides into my pocket easily and has a kickstand that works in either portrait or landscape. Because it's made by the phone manufacturer for the phone, every space and button is laid out perfectly! The after-market cases I've been buying had one opening for the camera, fingerprint and heart rate sensors - this one has perfectly fitted dividers for each, which makes it much easier to put your finger in the correct place for the sensors. I'm very happy with it!Update 10/17/2019 I still love this case! I drop my phone way too often and it shows no scuffs or scars. Other cases did not protect the corners completely but this one does!

I usually stay away from official samsung cases due to the lack of durability and protection but this one Iove. It works with most screen protectors, It is slim and lightweight. The kickstand function works well. It feels very comfortable to hold and I enjoy the texture of the case. The fingerprint sensor has a cutout that separates it from the camera so you don't have to worry about smudging your camera. It offers a decent top and bottom lip so you don't have to worry about your table (or any other flat surface) from scratching the glass of the phone (or your screen protector). i've also dropped the phone with the case in it and there was no damage. Overall this is a great case for the s9 plus but there aren't many color options so keep that in mind.
