Very aesthetically pleasing. Works well. Lid fits nicely, not 100% air tight, but keeps the smell contained. Solidly built and sturdy. The notches are the perfect size to hold a cig securely if you need to put it down for a second. The pot is small enough to be un-obtrusive on a small coffee table, but not so small that you have to constantly empty it. And side note, the metal lid makes a pleasant ring if you knock it while lifting it off. Very zen 😁. All in all very happy with this, much better than an open ashtray or a jam jar.

Very functional and looks very good. Bought one for my daughter and one for myself, even though I don’t smoke, this is ideal to bring out for guests that do.

For those of us Baby-Boomers who still smoke cigarettes, but receive the disapproval of certain friends, this (with its lid on) is a simple pot, an ornament.A heavy design, and exceptionally useful.I strongly recommend this item.ADDITION TO COMMENT ON THIS ITEM:After having this item for some time I must say that I don't really like this item, I really, really, REALLY LOVE this item!

Lovely little ashtrays but the rain gets in on top were the little handle is. Shame
