It was pretty good. Not as good as A5, but it’s a good snack. Pricey? Yes. But is it good? Also yes. Better than the other brands for sure. Decent ammount of meat too. Definitely wagyu quality. I’d buy it again.

R-C Ranch Wagyu Beef Jerky and another brand are at the top of my list for quality, texture, and taste. Great to snack on at work and has the best overall flavor of any jerky I have eaten.

I love jerky. Eat lots of jerky. Lots of different kinds of jerky. I was really excited to just love this jerky. To do a fair test I had my wife put it in three different piles and test them against two other brands of gas station jerky. Only my wife knew what was what. It got only so-so reviews. There was several pieces that were really, really good. However, out of 30 odd pieces there was only four or five that were really good. The rest were average or below average. Some of the pieces were extremely dry, and there was also a little bone piece in there. So, at basically double the price per oz for the gas station jerky it just wasn't worth the money unfortunately.

A friend told me about R-C Ranch jerky. Flavorful and doesn’t taste processed like Jack’s. It also doesn’t give me heart burn. I’m looking forward to trying to others flavors.

Really great taste

I have never had wagyu before, but from what i have seen it is supposed to be extremely fatty and tender. This jerky was surprisingly dry for as much fat thats supposed to be in the meat. That being said the flavor was great. I bought it because it was zero sugar and i wanted to treat myself with good jerky. Apart from the dryness, this did not disappoint. Its good jerky.

This is so good. Unfortunately, it was a gift for my husband’s birthday and I ended up eating it all. Buy two bags :p they actually give you a decent amount too.

The bad: The only tender bite I had in this bag was one of those tiny pieces that sit at the bottom of the bag. I've had more tender non-specialty beef jerky from "standard" jerky companies found in big box stores. This wagyu jerky was definitely a jaw workout. The good: the flavor is definitely there. Peppery to the point of a little spiciness. I have no complaints on the flavor. Conclusion: if you like to chew (and chew), this will be perfect for you, especially if you like the flavor of peppery spiciness (it's a warm heat...wouldn't say it's truly spicy). But I found it over priced considering the cuts were so tough.
