I've been a YETI fan but now I'm a BruMate fan. I love the Prickly Pear color very much. It's not difficult for me to open the lid and pull up. I have small hands. It holds the right amount of water for when I'm out playing pickle so I'm happy! The soft silicone surface is preferable to the hard one of the YETI. The whole lid mechanism is thought out...MOSTLY. While it doesn't leak (yay!)...the hinged flap did come out of its groove the first day I used it...granted I was getting used to the whole slide the bar and pop the flap mechanism but, it needs to be exactly square or you can pop the flap out of the hinge groove. So, now I'm more careful and it hasn't happened again. This keeps my drink nicely cold and it looks great! Happy overall with this and will be buying another in KIWI color soon.

This is wonderful, absolutely does not leak and keeps drinks with ice cold, still retained ice 24 hours later. Big enough to put plenty of ice in, easy to clean. Does take a but of effort to open, but it is worth it and if you use the same position a while, it becomes easier. Great buy

LOVE this color!! Does NOT leak at all, top is very easy to remove and put on (not like a normal top that screws on, just a little tiny turn one way and done) I've had hot coffee stay hot all day & ice still be solid in it after a 8hr shift.

The media could not be loaded. I used to have the BrüMate Toddy XL - 32oz. I love it and it lasted a very long time. The lid was nasty and I couldn’t find a replacement so… I decided to replace de entire mug. I bought this one on April, 2024 and today is May 2024. So it only lasted about a month. I regret throwing away my old one. My return window had expired so I’m stuck with something totally worthless. The weird thing is I have no idea how the lid broke. I went to drink my coffee and noticed it was broken. Yeah I know I can buy a new lid… I think I rather buy the old 32oz…. By the way, if you are thinking about buying this, think about… the “new” lid design is very hard to put on and pull off. Other than that, is a solid mug!Update May 28: (Changing my rating)So After submitting my review I was contacted by the seller with the offer to replace my product, however I had already contacted Brumate and they agreed to send a new lid. I was kind of blown away by the prompt response and great customer service.The truth is, I love my Brumates.. yeah, I just got my new old Toddy XL and hopefully will have my new lid soon. They are expensive, but they do keep your coffee hot/warm for a while and best of all there is no spillage. I will continue to buy Brumate for as long as I drink coffee...

Love the look, and feel of the new brumate MUV. The lid takes a little getting used to open but overall it’s great! No leaking and keeps my drink cold in the hot weather we are having

Brumate lives up to its assertions. They keep their heat/cold for a long, long time. I have cats who think it is fun to knock things onto the floor and NOTHING leaks from Brumate vessels. This new Muv style also lives up to its claims, however, they have a much better lid on them than previous styles, in my opinion with one con; the lids are somewhat difficult to attach and remove if you have arthritis in the hands. The notches need to be lined up PERFECTLY to go on and then it will go on easily and pull off easily. If you tuen the lid to seal it, some may find it difficult to turn.

While this does keep my drinks cool, and is leak proof (when lid is closed correctly), I honestly hated the octalock lid. I find it fiddly and also difficult to open. The latch that locks the magnetic cover also slips and sometimes hinders the closing of the flap. The sipping experience is also not as smooth as I would like becauae of the notch/lip on the lid but I did appreciate the magnet that held the flap in place (although this is already done in other tumblers just not with a magnet).Overall, it's okay but there are others better IMO.

This is a very nice cup. It is indeed absolutely leakproof. I like the locking mechanism, they put some effort into that lid and it shows. The cup is super easy to clean, it is dishwasher proof, the handle is comfortable, and the lid feels comfortable to drink out of. Love it.Would love it if they made this exact cup with an octalock straw lid, but not the silicone straw. I would much rather be able to insert or remove the straw and have the freedom of choice in one an the same cup than to have to buy the era on top of the muv just to get a cup with a straw. I would rather sacrifice the leakproof feature for that than to have to get two separate cups. So my main go-to cups remain my Stanley and Yeti cups, but Brumate is actually the one with the smoothest drinking feeling when drinking straight out of the lid. Also, if they made a 20 to 25 oz. cup with this same style handle, that would be great, too!

This is so beautiful and TOTALLY leak proof !!It’s a little pricey but totally worth it !

Es la segunda vez que lo pido en diferentes colores y me llegó en excelentes condiciones.Me gusta porque en efecto no se le filtra ningún líquido y mantiene caliente mi café por horas.

Es ligero, cómodo, cero derrames, un poco complicado de abrir, mantiene varias horas el líquido frío (no he probado con caliente), todo el vaso se siente de buena calidad, la base es de silicona por lo que se protege de golpes y es silencioso al golpear con las bases.
