Excellent shampoo
Generally we buy this type shampoo at medical supply house, but found this comparable to the higher priced shampoo. It lathers nicely and doesn’t have the strong smell my other shampoo has. It cleared up my flakes and keeps my scalp feeling fine, not dried out.

I've always found the coal tar type dandruff shampoos to work best, and the Amazon Basics offering works as well as any name brand I've tried, at a reasonable price.

Squeaky-Clean and Itchy-Gone.
Not only is this shampoo great at soothing an itchy scalp, the hair stays clean 2X-3X longer.

Very effective for itching and flakes
This shampoo is great, it's very effective. I get psoriasis flare-up on my scalp and had bad one. I felt relief after one use and less flakes. I use it a couple times a week to keep my scalp in good shape. It does smell but i don't find the scent lingers especially if you use another shampoo after.

Strong tar smell
Tried it as comparison to T Gel. Unfortunately, the product smells very strong like tar, unlike T Gel which does not. Disappointing.
