Q: What is the weight capacity of this bench? It should posted here.

I have the small one and two people have sat on it at a time, so at least 350lbs.

Q: Is this sturdy enough to sit on?

I am 145 lbs and can sit on it to put my shoes on. It is sturdy enough for that, or to put feet up. My cats snooze on it too. I don't think I'd use it for long-term sitting (like a stuffed ottoman). I wouldn't stand on it either.

Q: Is the dark grey very dark? And is the light grey extremely light? I can’t tell which color people have in the photos?

Definitely dark but a very nice color

Q: Is it sturdy enough to add feet to the bottom?

you could easily add feet to the bottom by also adding a piece of plywood and then drilling feet into the plywood. I would cut plywood to leave an inch of space so its not noticeable.
