We’ve tried a few different sun shades before, but this one is by far the easiest and most effective. It opens just like an umbrella, so setup takes only a few seconds — no more wrestling with those awkward foldable ones. It fits our windshield perfectly (we got the medium), and you can instantly feel the difference in temperature when getting into the car. The interior stays noticeably cooler and protected from direct sun. It also folds down neatly into a compact case, so it doesn’t take up space when not in use.Highly recommend if you’re tired of dealing with the heat or flimsy sun shades. We love it!

This is a total game changer for keeping my car cool in the heat. It fits perfectly on car! It is super easy to deploy and store, and blocks sunlight well keeping my car's interior much cooler. Why did you pick this product vs others?:This surprisingly works well. Fits our car perfectly, got a large.I found if you line up the umbrella handle with the center of the rear view mirror it fits well easily the first time. If it’s not aligned right it will give you a battle.The spines seem to be quite thin , not sure how long it will last.Once you get the hang of it and center it . Works well.Closing is easy. The Velcro band that goes around could be a bit longer but is ok.Good product. Time will tell about durability.

The best sun protector I could buy! It keeps the car cool on the hottest of summer days in Texas. Unfortunately, my car sits in a parking lot uncovered all day and the window umbrella provides full coverage to keep the sun out. Its easy to put and take down. Its compact and folds up neatly and the dark lining blocks the sun making the car comfortable when I get in the car.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Beautiful look, great design. The corners have a spring so they bend perfectly. Everyone who sees it in my car ask about it because the material is beautiful, it’s sturdy, and extremely easy to use.

Love this design! I’ve tried just about every type of windshield shade that’s out there, and this by far the easiest to put on and take off. No more trying to get springy fiberglass poles to twist perfectly to store, or having to adjust and readjust to get centered on the windshield - this umbrella style goes on easily, comes off easily, and closes for storage like an umbrella…

I have yet to see how much heat they reduce as I just got them and installed. There are several areas that light leaks through, and it feels fairly cheaply made. I like the bendy handle to keep it propped up on the dash, but the sun is definitely leaking through. This will also not work super well if you have a dash cam. Even on my sisters car which doesn’t have a dash cam, it fits fairly poorly. The images in the listing are extremely misleading, making it look like a high quality product with good thick fabric. But the fabric feels like flimsy umbrella material. It is lightweight and folds easily, but that’s about all the good I can say.

I use this in my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance, and it does the job—blocks sunlight well and keeps the cabin noticeably cooler, even in Arizona’s extreme heat. The fit is solid, and it folds down compactly.My only issue is the setup process. As a sales rep who’s in and out of the car all day, using this shade multiple times gets tedious and puts more wear on the mechanism. For occasional use or long stops, it’s a 5/5. But for daily use with frequent stops, I’d give it a 4/5.Great product—just better suited for set-it-and-leave-it situations than rapid daily use.
