Happy with it, family even happier!
I waited a long time before writing this review because I wanted to make sure I could say something beyond the honeymoon stage. Now I'm finally ready to do so. This machine has turned out to be a blessing. Sure, it has its quirks like any other automatic appliance. For instance, the suction cups that should secure it to a counter surface aren't that strong (more on that later), but at least it does what it offers. Now, I need to inform you that while the basic white bread process renders the most delicious bread on earth, the whole wheat was a disaster. I will take responsibility for it, because machines aren't smart enough to fail on their own. I liked that I can add stuff or replace it and the machine keeps on going (I learned to use oil instead of butter, real milk instead of powdered milk, and to add raisins or cranberries to my white bread). Good things: timer reliability, very good dough kneading, crust baking, ease to prepare bread and to remove loaf at the end. Not too satisfactory (but then, this may be because of other factors): whole wheat bread was a disaster, and so was trying to make a baguette dough. It just didn't rise, but I'm taking responsibility because I must have made a mistake. Now, the funny story (back to the suction cups): I got used to set up the machine at 10 or 11 o'clock the night before to wake up to freshly baked bread. This machine is good at it. However, when it's in the kneading cycle it almost dances... and the last time I left it to work overnight, it danced... and fell to the floor. Disaster: the dough was on the floor (salvageable), and the machine lost its lid (broken hinge). Here's the nice part: I contacted the manufacturer. They requested that I sent them a photo of the damaged machine. I did, and their reply was to offer me a new one, free of charge, as a courtesy—yet, with the severe admonition that I should never leave the machine unattended. Why make it programmable then? In any case, if the machine performance was quite satisfactory and the bread was loved by my whole family, now I can add a word about Cuisinart: they really stand by their product. The machine was so tough that even with a broken hinge it still made good bread! Needless to say, I'm continuing using this machine and can recommend it because of its ease of use, bread quality (at least the white bread) and good results.

You need this bread machine!
This bread machine is awesome! Something everyone should know is that there is a science to bread making, one you master it, you’re good to go. Once you learn how to use this bread maker, it’s so easy. The nonstick bread pan is so great, because the bread never sticks to the walls of the pan. The bread machine always mixes the ingredients perfectly and so well. The shape of the bread pan and bread itself is amazing. The bread comes out perfect every time. Bread making couldn’t have been made easier! The bread slices are literally the exact size to fit into the toaster. Ever since this bread maker was purchased, no bread from the store has been bought! It is so much cheaper to make bread yourself than to buy it from the store. I never would have thought bread making could be this easy. The bread makes the house smell so good! Every time you walk into the house you just smell delicious bread! When the bread is finished baking, the whole family is waiting, just to get a piece of the bread. I encourage you to buy this bread machine and to just make bread at home!!! This bread machine does not disappoint. You can make all sorts of bread in this machine. I love my bread machine and I’m even considering to buy another one. If there were more than 5 stars for the review, I would give it 10/10 stars or more if possible!

You probably forgot how good fresh bread is
From the first loaf you immediately taste how delicious fresh bread is even compared to a premium store brand. This machine is a quality build with simple buttons to start the process. With a small investment of pantry items you'll be able to start making bread without a learning curve because the machine does all the work. Start with French bread which is flour, water, salt, and yeast and progress into breads with more ingredients. I don't think I can ever go back to a supermarket bread; it would be like switching to gas station coffee from your own freshly ground beans and brew.

Quite a good little machine
Wanted to try a bread machine without making a huge investment. Decided on this one and so far quite happy. Pros: 1. Reasonably small footprint. 2. Directions are mostly clear, with a good number of recipes included 3. Shape of bread pan. Produces almost square loaves. Nice for sandwiches! 4. Very simple to clean 5. Results so far very consistent and reliable - makes great bread! (Have tried 3 different recipes, each a couple times so far) Cons: 1. A bit noisy during knead cycles 2. Appliance sometimes "walks" due to the motion during kneading. I don't think it would move itself so much as to fall off the counter, but as a safety measure, I place the unit near the back of the counter, bundle the excess cord length with a bread tie and use it almost as a leash. I figure if the machine really moves itself forward enough, it'll unplug itself before it falls. (So far, mine has only moved itself an inch or two) 3. Love the bread shape (square) but note - a standard toaster is too shallow to accommodate the entire slice - about 1/2" sticks out the top. I flip the toast around midway through. 4. Audible beeps for "add in" and "paddle" (removal, if desired) are easy to confuse. I wish the tones sounded different. Overall, very satisfied with this machine. I've put it in my "good to give as a gift" category.

Easy to use, makes delicious bread when recipe done right
I’m so glad that I bought this when they were selling out quickly due to the Covid19 crisis. I’ve made about a half dozen or so loaves of bread in the past three weeks and overall have had excellent results. First, I saw several reviews that said the bread maker didn’t come with a paddle. I thought the same thing at first - please note the paddle is taped to the inside of a cardboard piece that protects the inside of the maker from scratching. They should make this more obvious as I can see how people could overlook it and accidentally throw it away. On to the maker’s attributes, it has a nice look to it on the counter and it is compact enough that I don’t mind leaving it out 24/7 in my smallish kitchen. I will note that I have NOT used the recipes in the book that came with it. They seemed a bit fussy and with no reviews on the recipes themselves I didn’t trust them. I bought a couple of bread machine bread cookbooks that were recommended to me - in particular the Bread Lovers Bread Machine Cookbook. I’ve also found recipes on King Arthur flour’s website. For those that are having trouble with the bread machine making loaves properly, I suppose it could be the bread maker malfunctioning, but I imagine it may be more likely that people are not measuring correctly or putting the ingredients in the machine in the right order. For my first loaf I knew I overmeasured the water just a bit but figured no biggie it will be more moist. Nope - it was too airy (but still pretty good)! Next time I did the same recipe and was more precise on my measuring and it was perfect! Another time my bread didn’t rise properly and was dense but I didn’t blame the bread machine - I know I messed up that time because it was honey bread and I forgot to put the honey in with the liquid ingredients before the flour was added so I ended up putting the honey on last which I’m sure messed up the yeast activity. That bread however was still good and edible just too dense. The other tip I’ll give is to make sure to measure flour properly. I didn’t realize this was an issue for so many people but all of the flour books stress this point so also make sure you know how to measure flour without packing it. If there is way too much flour I’m sure the bread won’t turn out. Conversely, the bread books tell you that if your dough is too moist during the mixing process, that you should add flour during the machines’ kneading process. During my very first loaf I could tell it was likely too moist through the window but I was too scared to interfere with the process. On my last loaf I made which was a Hawaiian sweet bread I could tell it was too moist so I added flour every couple of minutes during the second knead until it made a smoother dough ball that held together. The bread turned out delicious! In summary, do your research on how to optimize the results you get from your bread machine and enjoy your baking process and results!!

Great bread machine with some new nice features
I saw some of the low feedback and was nervous about getting this bread machine to replace my previous one. I understand that when multiple versions are listed on the same listing, the reviews are all jumbled together and also the reviews are jumbled together for sellers other than direct from Amazon or the manufacturer. I bought the compact version directly from Amazon/the manufacturer. My product was brand new (never used) in the original box and a matching shipping box. Ok, I’ve made bread dough in the bread machine and now I’ve made bread in the bread machine and it looks like a keeper! Something interesting about this machine compared to my last machine is it is smaller, but still makes the same size loaf! Also it has an alert tone for the end of the kneading cycle so you can check that it made a good dough ball after kneading. Meaning if the dough ball is too wet, you can add more flour and run it again. It also has an alert tone at the end of the third rise so you have an opportunity to remove the dough and remove the paddle before the baking cycle for a prettier loaf (and easier removal of the paddle). The only thing I think might be a concern is how loud the alerts are and there is no way to turn off the alerts. Not a problem if you aren’t worried about waking anyone…

Consumers Beware !
Ok I rarely rate product with a negative review until I experienced this issue with the Cuisinart model CBK-110 bread Machine. After researching newer bread machines and reading the reviews, I wanted to replace my noisy outdated bread machine with a newer version that was quieter. I been making loaves of bread for 15 plus years with my old bread machine and every loaf was beautiful and of course delicious but noisy machine. My husband requested for me to search and by a new bread machine, so I decided to do so. My bread making recipe has been always consistent using the best of ingredients and measurements to the dot. After using the new machine, I was actually excited with the new bread maker machine that it was was really quiet when knitting the bread unlike my dinosaur. After making the first loaf of bread using the Cuisinart machine model CBK-110, the bread collapse after it was completed to the point of disappointment. Several months went by, precisely during last Christmas (2022) and decided to make another loaf of bread for the holidays. After using the Cuisinart, the bread once again collapsed and horribly looking. This same day I quickly switched to my old ten year bread machine though noisy and put up with the noise, after taking the the bread loaf out of my old machine, the loaf was beautiful like it should be. So my holiday presentation was not a failure and did not used the new Cuisinart bread machine again until March 2023. After attempting once more, the same thing happened, the loaf of bread collapse. I then realized it must be something wrong with the machine so we contacted the manufacturer (cuisinart.com) via email. After several exchanged emails for several days I explained my situation, I asked for a replacement due to my assumptions being a "Lemon" factory defected item a which happens all the time and understandable. Their support team (Cuisinart) decided Not to replace the bread maker under the warranty because they said that it was nothing wrong with the machine and pushed the deficiency right back to me stating that it was my recipe and I wasn't making bread loaf correctly. So, this review is just a caution for consumers that have had any issues with this Cuisinart bread making machine and cuisinarts warranty. Hey Cuisinart! I will keep your "Lemon" to only find a place in the trash bin/recycle bin, and definitely will stay away from your products. As I heavily relied on the amount good reviews as why I purchased your product. A quick NOTE! this review was written as honest and ethical as possible for the consumers. I will continue using my dinosaur bread maker until I locate something worth my money. Thanks for reading.

Easy to use first time bread maker follow the tips and the hints
I’m a first time bread maker. I followed the instructions for French bread, and my first loaf was a disaster that I had to rescue not because of the machine because of my lack of knowledge about bread making and the importance of the balance of water to flour. For this review, I should have a picture of what it looked like. It was kind of wet and gooey and intuitively. I knew that’s not the way it should look. The manual said to remove the paddle by removing the dough when the machine beeps 10 times so that’s when I looked at my dough and saw that it was probably not the way it should be. I went ahead and tried to remove it anyway and ended up with gooey paste everywhere but there was still enough left in the machine to let it cook, and it was edible. I like rustic. My second attempt I had done some research and made sure to check the dough and sure enough it was wet again, even though I bought a scale and weighed the ingredients which I thought was the problem, but it was wet again so I added enough flour to bring it up to where it wouldn’t stick to my finger. Unfortunately, this was during the rise phase, but I figured it was better to just go ahead and add the flour. The loaf came out much better, but had large holes because the dough was still a little wet. I also made cornbread using the cake function and a recipe for a bread machine cookbook. It turned out very nice and very tasty. The main thing about this bread machine is that I can throw the ingredients in turn it on and have bread in a few hours not much to clean up Making the cornbread was easier again throw the ingredients in the machine does the work mixes the ingredients and bakes it the machine is compact and easy to pull off the shelf when I want to use it Easy to clean I started off with a 1 pound loaf of French bread and I’m eating it so fast. I’ll probably need to make a 2 pound loaf. But it was great I realized I’m out of bread. I gotta make some so I threw the ingredients into the Cuisinart and had bread for dinner. The picture shows my pastrami sandwich and cornbread with some salad.
