Excellent trimmer, just exactly what I wanted

Bought like a gift for my husband and actually is really good choice if you are looking something similar for your loved one. Set have so many things for different type of shaves!

It performs well in several areas but also has a few shortcomings worth considering. PROS 👏100-minute run time: The battery life is impressive, giving you plenty of trimming time on a single charge, which is ideal for travel or occasional use without frequent recharging. 👏Lifetime sharp blades: The blades stay sharp even after multiple uses, providing a consistent, clean cut every time. 👏Ergonomic design: It's designed to be easy to hold and manoeuvre, which adds comfort and control during use. 👏Lightweight: This trimmer is surprisingly light, making it easy to handle for longer grooming sessions. 👏Decent number of attachments: You get a wide range of attachments for various grooming needs — beard, body, and even ear and nose hair. 👏Great for body and beard: It excels at trimming and maintaining beard lines and body hair, offering good versatility for most grooming routines. CONS ❌ No 3-pin UK plug: One major letdown is the lack of a standard UK 3-pin plug. It comes with a 2-pin shaver plug, which requires an adapter for many UK bathrooms. ❌ Not ideal for head hair trimming: If you're hoping to use this as a hair clipper, it may struggle with thicker or denser hair, especially on the scalp. ❌ A bit pricier than competitors: For what it offers, the price is on the higher end compared to similar multi-groomers in the market. ❌ Attachments are okay, but not great**: While there are plenty of them, the build quality of the attachments feels a bit average and not as durable as you'd expect. ❌ Loose sliding guards: The adjustable combs for 3-11mm and 13-21mm settings tend to slide up too easily. If you’re primarily looking for a **body and beard trimmer** with a strong battery life and solid performance, the Braun MGK5280 delivers. However, it falls short on a few quality and usability aspects, especially considering the price point. It's a good choice, but not without compromises.

Good product. Works well. Looks elegant It comes with a soft case not with the hard case as shown in the picture. Also the stand does not come with this model.

5 years ago, I bought the Braun MGK 7221 for trimming my beard, hair and body and it's held up remarkably well, despite heavy use. My favourite thing about its design is how easy it is to disassemble, since it allowed me to replace the battery once it showed signs of degrading. I did this at the start of this trimmer's 4th year and upgraded the 700 mAh battery with a 1000 mAh battery from eBay. Another upgrade would be to buy one of those Yinke 12V USB-C charger adapters from Amazon, so that you can charge it with the same cable that you charge your phone with, instead of using the proprietary charger that comes with it. This saves me a lot of space when travelling.

I've been using Phillips bears trimmers for a very, very long time and have been very happy with them. However I saw this all-in-one kit, the last Phillips was getting a bit long in the tooth, and Prime Day tempted. 1. NOT YOUR MAIN TRIMMER? The Phillips featured incremental sizes between grades, even going into .5's between them. The Braun is more complicated. There's no visual guide, just a number of clicks on the plastic head/s available to use. While on the one hand it's possible to get used to these, it's not visually appealing and, given any sleepy morning, could be a risky prospect. As it stands I'm not entirely confident in using it for it's main purpose. EXTRAS. THE EXCELLENT. Nose trimmer is quick and very thorough. Likewise the detailer is outstanding, foil trimmer superb. Absolutely top note. HMM .. and then NO. Body groomer takes a bit of getting used to, but got there when trimming my chest. As for more intimate grooming, three cuts in the first attempt. WEIGHT AND HEAT. It's quite a chunky unit, the heft gives it a bit of uncertainty, instability and at times I couldn't entirely be sure it wasn't going to rock in my hand and cause an issue. It also got VERY warm in a short space of time. Disturbingly so. I DIDN'T TRY. The razor. OVERALL. The supplemental aspects - nose trimmer, detailer, foil trimmer are excellent. Body groomer eventually gets decent results on the top half, a catastrophe with more intimate grooming. If money is no object and you're after the extras, they absolutely complement a grooming routine. However I don't trust the unit *at all*, it's unstable in the hand and gets very warm. The actual beard trimming aspect is really unclear and what seems to me like a real design fault, particularly in comparison to the visual precision of the Phillips trimmers. I hope this helps!

La recortadora me ha salido realmente bien. Corta de forma uniforme, no da tirones y es fácil ajustar la longitud que quiero sin complicarme. La batería aguanta lo suficiente para varios usos y se limpia rápido bajo el grifo, lo que es un alivio. Es cómoda en la mano y el resultado queda limpio, así que para el mantenimiento diario de la barba funciona de maravilla. Para su precio, la verdad que merece mucho la pena.

Ich habe den Multigroomer inzwischen mehrmals benutzt und bin mit der Leistung sehr zufrieden. Das Gerät ist solide verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und arbeitet angenehm leise. Die Aufsätze sind vielseitig – Bart, Kopfhaar, Körperpflege und auch Nasenhaare lassen sich problemlos schneiden. Die 14 Längeneinstellungen sind präzise und stabil, sodass man schnell die gewünschte Länge findet. Die Akkulaufzeit reicht locker für mehrere Anwendungen, und die Reinigung ist unkompliziert: Aufsätze abnehmen, unter warmem Wasser abspülen, mit der kleinen Bürste Haare entfernen, trocknen lassen und gelegentlich die Klingen ölen. Das gehört einfach zur Pflege dazu und sorgt dafür, dass das Gerät lange zuverlässig bleibt. Fazit: Ein vielseitiger, zuverlässiger Multigroomer, der im Alltag praktisch ist und gute Ergebnisse liefert – solange man ihn regelmäßig pflegt.
