Thanks for your interest in our product, regarding your problem, the spacing of vertical bars is 11.5cm, as you know, cats are liquid, I’m sorry this can’t stop the cat from getting in

Didn't have any issues it. shipped when said it would.

Q: I live on top of a hill that gets strong winds. Would i need to anchor it?

Yes, it will probably bend and sway a lot in the wind even if you anchor it, but at least that way it won't fly away.

Q: How can these be attached to the house - can't use the stakes because they would be put over concrete?

I put mine in large pots with my tall plants. Worked great. I would highly recommend these trellises.
