I-CLIP Wallet Pure (Available in 7 Variants)

I just received my iClip wallet and I'm undecided how to rate this item. First off, I decided to buy this wallet because I loved the sleek design and functionality of it. Also, that it is really compact (small), which fits in my front pocket with ease. However, like Jane B's rating, I'm very disappointed in the quality of materials used at such a high cost for purchase ($36). There's the thin leather cover that loosely covers your cash, unless your carrying 10 bills or more. The body and card clip/holder looks and feels of cheap plastic, which gives me little confidence in its durability. I'll re-rate this item once I've owned it for a few months. Although, if I knew before what I know now, I would NOT BUY this wallet because of the high cost to quality of material used. Personally, I think the value of this wallet is closer to the $10 - $15 range.

UPDATE! I really like this wallet BUT it broke! I have had it less then 3 weeks that the plastic frame cracked.Does the vendor stand behind their product? I hope so!This is the PERFECT wallet! Very easy to get your credit cards in and out of, money clip works great and retains it shape. I like how small and compact it is, some time i forget i have it with me because it is so small and comfortable! I like it so much I bought my dad one!

I bought my first iClip a few years ago while traveling in Rome... I had been searching for the perfect clip-type wallet to keep in my front pocket for awhile in the States but was unable to find the perfect one. I came across the iClip in a small shop and bought it. Loved it from moment one! It keeps everything neat and protected, prevents me from overstuffing my wallet with needless receipts, etc., and fits comfortably in my front pocket. I recently had lost my wallet and the first thing I did after cancelling the credit and debit cards, was order a new iClip! It arrived two days later .... and then of course ... I found my original wallet. I've had three friends ask if they could have my old one... great product and great buy. It is designed primarily for Euro notes, but USD bills fit just as well.

Nice and compact clip-wallet. My fist clip-wallet. I’m still adjusting from a traditional wallet. A colleague at work got one for Christmas an raved about it. I thought it was cool and had been wanting to venture into clips. Supposedly better for your back not to carry a wallet in your back pocket. It claims to hold up to 12 cards. Seems more like 8 if you want any room for your bills. Don’t expect to carry a lot of cash either since you have to tri-fold your money. I thought it was aluminum, but it is plastic. Hopefully will be durable. I like it, but hope they will come out with one that WILL actually hold 12 cards and more bills.

I have been looking for a minimalist wallet for a while. Did my research and it came down to the Ridge and iClip. The winner is iClip!!! iClip let’s you choose what card you want to take out. Ridge doesn’t. To get one card out of the Ridge, you have to push them all out. iClip is lighter and looks and feels like a wallet. Not like a little metal brick(Ridge). Between my cellphone house keys, car keys and wallet you can see how I needed to lighten things up a bit.Best wallet for the price.

This is my second I-clip wallet. I had it for approx 4 years before, the plastic body cracked. It was still useable, but the deerskin cover was looking a bit worn. Both the Carbon Fiber Black I-clip about 2 weeks ago. It is a fantastic product. The cover on this model seems to be a little more heavy duty than the deerskin. The best thing about the I-clip is the size. I HATE big fat wallets. This is slim, holds several credit cards, license, insurance cards, business cards and has the money clip. I put it in my back pocket , but it is a great front pocket wallet also.

This is a brilliant design which is what you are paying for. You cannot get any smaller than this form and include a covered area for cash. I fit about 7 cards/IDs (I don't tri-fold my bills - I simply fold them in half then half again and the wallet easily fits more cash than expected with the flap covering cash, without being bulky).I bought the plastic version and didn't realize it. Although I love the wallet, any business person will tell you it probably cost less that 4 bucks to produce. It's molded plastic that seems very well made - and after 2 weeks with it, I see no fault in the design or material. However, knowing now that the difference of a few dollars gets you the metal version, I think I would go for the metal next time. The only advantage of plastic would be non-detection through metal detectors.

I bought two wallets to compare ($40 I-Clip & a $5.99 Travelambo). The $40 I-Clip Absolutely is better for me. I understand how to slide through my cards so I don't need all the separate pocket holders which add bulk. The I-Clip isn't the best for business cards so I entered all the business cards into my phone. I do have one of my business cards closest to the money clip to pass out to a potential client but have other spare cards in my truck etc.Good buy, wish I would have bought one years ago.

Update vom 05.12.2020:Der Verkäufer hat mir im Frühsommer angeboten, eine I-Clip Geldbörse zu testen, welche ich kostenlos erhalten habe. Diesmal war das Material Leder und nicht Carbon-Optik (siehe Forto 1). Die Geldbörse war/ist viel im Einsatz, das Leder ist nach wie vor in einem guten Zustand (siehe Foto 2). Das Material kann ich empfehlen.Zwei Dinge mache ich anders als bei meiner ersten i-Clip Geldbörse, dadurch werden die Karten nicht bzw. deutlich weniger abgenutzt:- Ich habe als erste und als letzte Karte einen RFID-Schutz, dadurch werden die Karten dazwischen geschont, weil nie die "erste" Karte rausgeschoben wird- Ich habe nun deutlich weniger Karten drinnen als zuvor (4 Karten +2 RFID-Schutz). Dadurch ist es nicht so eng und die Karten werden nicht beschädigt.Aus diesem Grund ändere ich meine Bewertung von einem Stern* auf vier Sterne****.

DO NOT buy this wallet!!This wallet was a Christmas gift from my partner.On receipt I was thrilled, it is small and a smart clever design.It held my 8 cards and 10 notes easily.I lauded it as my new wallet. Told friends and associates how practical and compact it WAS.I enjoyed using it.This was until I dropped it, from pocket height, in the supermarket.The chassis which appears metal had broken at the corner. It apparently is plastic or ceramic and not durable or fit for purpose.This company has sought to convey quality product by asserting that it is made in Germany,wherever it is made it is made out of unsuitable material and Is not fit for purchase.This particular model refers to carbon which suggest durability and hardwearing when it is printed fabric which appears to be leather.The high price point which for a durable premium product would not be unreasonable transpires to be extortionate - THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.At this price point the wallet should have been made out of a durable, effective, practical material.There appears to be no easy way of discussing this with the retailer. A replacement product would have the same vulnerability.I am extra sensitive to this product as it is a premium priced product gifted to me by my partner. I was initially taken in and thought it was a good wallet, this is not the case it is poorly cheaply manufactured.I am very disappointed

Die Geldklammer ist sehr Spezifisch, wie viel drin hält: sind es zu wenig Karten fallen Sie ständig raus, sind es zu viele (9 oder mehr) bekommt man das Geld nur sehr schwer rein.Der Rahmen wirkt aufs erste eher minderwertig, da er aus Plastik ist, das hätte man besser machen können (Für 35 Euro könnte man den schon aus Metall erwarten)Zudem ist der Plastikrahmen nach 1 Monat gebrochen (ohne Runterfallen etc.)

Invito i clienti a non comprare questo portafoglio, è di una qualità imbarazzante, non si possono spendere così tanti soldi per un mini portafoglio e romperlo dopo 2 giorni. La plastica che riveste si spacca con una facilità assurda, mi è caduto da 30 cm con il minimo della forza e mi si è spaccato neanche l'avessi martellato. Già l'ho incollato due volte. Non conviene.

Ho acquistato il prodotto poco più di un anno fa, esteticamente inizia a deteriorarsi in pochi mesi, ma vabbè mi sono risposto che magari era la mia incuria il problema. Il vero problema è che su 8 carte che ho nel portacarte icplip, 8 CARTE NON FUNZIONANO PIÙ!!! La banda magnetica è inesistente, i numeri spariscono, addirittura la patente non ha quasi più la foto!!! Purtroppo “scegliendo “ la carta facendole scorrere, sfregate le une alle altre, rendendole inutilizzabili! È chiaro che non succederà in 1 mese o 2 ma con il tempo è inevitabile!
