Used this device to support Wireless CarPlay on a 2023 Kia Nero EV. In my car you connect via the larger USB A socket not the smaller USB C. Plugged the device into the USB A, connected to my phone via Bluetooth. The cars infotainment detected the CarPlay, followed the prompts on screen and the iPhone. Works great. Had a couple of drop outs in the first 10mins of usage but has since worked fine. Used the double sided sticky tape to place the device out of the way. Very happy with the purchase.

Very easy to set up, and has performed flawlessly in our 72 plate Kia Sportage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for wireless android auto.

Sometimes if you are on call it will disconnect automatically or sometimes it will just disconnect even though you are doing nothing other than navigation. But overall this product is good. When its connected works very well

Doesn't work had tryed for a hour and had a friend try. Just does not work

Although there seemed to be a raft of instructions, no actual setting up was required. Plugged in, turned on Bluetooth and it all connected and worked. Works fine with both Apple and Android. Get's a little laggy every so often and a couple of times it could not decide which phone it wanted to connect to until one phone had it's Bluetooth turned off.

I have bought 2 of these, one for each car,(same make and same year, though different models). I have Apple and my husband has android. I can hop into either car and the car play automatically connects to the kit and car play, but he often has to go via the connect screen in the car. (We both have identical manufacturer command screens that support wired auto and CarPlay). In CarPlay the texts and WhatsApp’s are read out if you press the read button, and it is shown in text, but in auto, the screen whirls for a bit and the message shows as read, and shows no text, but does not play or display the message. This may be the difference between CarPlay and android auto, or that the device is better with CarPlay.

No need to update. Just plug & play. The extremely small manual is for people with perfect eyes. Other people should use magnifying glasses. 🤓 I made a picture with my phone and enlarged it. Actually there's no need for a manual but, of course, you only know this after reading the manual. 😃

Amazing product. Really smooth connection everytime I start the car. Very rarely it might get disconnected rarely. But overall it's really good. Highly recommended

Works better than built-in wireless CarPlay in other vehicles I have used! Took less than 2 min to set up and reliably connects within 15s of turning on my car. Supports all functions. Only thing I have noticed is that when you first play a song there is a momentary hiccup, but this will never recur for the rest of the drive. All-in-all, wish I would have bought this years ago.
