I am cheating on my usual OXO containers with these things and I have to admit, they are better! Oh, the OXO are great, but they are a wee bit fussier than these, and I tried but was not able to find them in this size. This is the perfect size! I also love how easy it is to take the lid off and put it back on. So simple and seals completely. They are also quite attractive. The labels are nice to have, but the pens are not great. I also bought a different brand of labels with a chalk pen and had the same problem, though, so it's not just this brand. I find that I have to write on the label then trace over it again every single time because the first time is just too light to see. Thankfully once they are labeled, they stay that way unless you clean them off with water, so you don't have to repeat the process on a regular basis. If anyone knows of a chalk pen that writes perfectly the first time, please let me know!

I purchase my spices from a big box store but they take up too much space, so I came across this item and it changed it up for me. No more big bulky spice bottles, I fill the containers with the appropriate spice, it looks neat and organized and refill as needed.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these containers because I really liked the Aesthetic look of them. I had read the other bad reviews and was hesitant but I still bought them because I felt like, I dont feel like im that careless of a person to over stuff containers or be too rough with them. Plus i hand wash almost everything anyways. Needless to say i like to take care of my things so they can last me a lot longer. I had these Aesthetic labels and paired them with the containers because I love the color black and they look so neat and organized. I also had a chalk marker so i can write on the lids when items will expire. It wipes away easily because the lid has a smooth surface. I saw the video on how to clean the lids when washing the containers. Be sure to check it out to ensure water does not stay in the lid causing moisture and future mold. In my opinion these containers are really sturdy, and the plastic has a good thickness to them. The tops have great suction which will keep items fresher for longer. Hope my review helps others. Like so many other reviewers, I had one of my six containers arrive with a big crack down the side. The cardboard box in which the containers are packed just isn't sturdy enough to protect the contents unless there's padding on both sides of it--but Amazon doesn't ship that way; one side of the box will always be up against the bottom of the shipping carton. Fortunately, Amazon's excellent customer service (as always) sent me a new set within a couple of days, but it's a shame that Shazo can't address what is obviously a common problem.Other than that, though, these containers seem like they'll be great. Their straight sides make them very space-efficient in my small RV pantry. Two of the half-height containers stacked exactly equals one of the tall containers, again maximizing my pantry space. The flip-latch lid seals tightly so it should do a good job keeping out moisture.The containers are sturdy, but after seeing the cracked one I suspect that these would crack if dropped from the counter onto the floor. The plastic is fairly hard and unforgiving. The only other downside to these is that water can get trapped inside the lid when you wash it. It's not too hard to shake out all but a few drops, but just be sure they're completely dry inside before using.So far I'm happy with both sets of my Shazo containers, but we'll see how they hold up over extended usage.

They have great airtight lids. Easy on and off. Look great and I use them for everything. Great price. You’ll love these.

These are too short for spaghetti but good for many other items.

Excellent containers

Pros: nice looking. Seems sturdy enough. I estimate a 5 year lifespan without issues. Great space savers! They have straight sides / lid silhouettes, so they can stack and be placed side by side with no wasted space. The lids are fairly easy to operate. Kisses & elderly with arthritis would do ok with these. (Not fantastic, but manageable.)Cons: lid seal gaskets aren’t very high grade material. They get displaced easily. The lids are secure enough, but I would not trust them to pick up the container by the lid - even for light contents. With medium pressure, I could remove the lid without releasing the seal. I wouldn’t store anything you need a 100% airtight, or waterproof seal (such as in a cooler with ice). I wouldn’t consider these for storing food items for significantly long periods. But they seem good enough for short term storage for dry goods - months or less. I am using mine for baking supplies, snack foods, and pet food. I’m trying them with nuts & coffee, as they go fast in our house, but I wouldn’t recommend for more than a month for items that spoil or stale easily with air exposure. 4/5. Would buy again.
