My new favorite EDC
In addition to my phone and my small Leatherman Rebar, I always have small pocket knife on me. It’s the handiest tool you didn’t know you needed until you don’t have one. A few of the all-stars in my daily rotation are my Ontario Rat II, Spyderco Tenacious, SOG Twitch II, Kershaw Scallion, CRKT Shenanigan, Cold Steel Voyager…. I could go on, but you knife guys who know your budget blades get the point. All are fairly well-known pocket clipped, flipper or thumb stud, liner lock knives with a 4” or less blade made of common medium quality steels, and all costing under $50. I wouldn’t consider myself a collector as these knives all see daily use and abuse. I just like a different flavor to keep things interesting. OK, so now that I’ve qualified myself a little, lets talk about my new favorite EDC, the Flissa folder. I wasn’t expecting this much in a sub $25 knife. You don’t normally get real G-10 scales and a Teflon coated D2 steel blade. So strange how the newer powder metallurgy super-steels seem to have demoted what was once a premium tooling and knife steel (D2) down into the every-man’s price range. 10 years ago, a D2 steel pocket knife of this quality would have cost 3X the price you see today. Nowadays, D2 seems to be the new 8Cr13MOV, just as 440C once was 20 years ago. But you know what? The steel itself has not changed. It is a fantastic choice for an EDC blade, only more affordable today simply due to marketing. D2 is a very hard steel with fantastic edge retention. You’ll want a good sharpening system, but you won’t be sharpening nearly as often. The slight downside of D2 is that is no more corrosion resistant than 8Cr13MOV or 440C, but this particular blade comes coated in some form of corrosion resistant Teflon type material, so no problems! I cant say enough about the ergonomics. The 4.5” handle and 3.5” blade balance brilliantly in your hand, and the flipper extends the blade with little more than a thought. The pocket clip allows the knife to ride so deep that it is all but invisible to the eye of those around you. A+ 5X stars, really is my new fav!

Great Knife with Initial Teething Issues
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I do enjoy the knife, quality of materials, blade design and overall ergonomics. The edge came extremely sharp out the box. I understand some's discontent with the non-reversable clip but that doesn't bother. The one issue I had with this pocket knife is that after about 100 or so flips the blade would loosen, become wobbly, and I would have to take the clip off and tighten the blade pivot screw. I had to repeat this process about 4-5 times. I also had to tighten the frame screws located at the bottom of the knife, only once though. I am happy to say that the tolerances of the knife have seemed to settle in and the action of the knife has become smoother without the pivot screw becoming loose. All of that being said, I do enjoy this knife and have had no issue with the button lock mechanism, which seems sturdy and has a positive feel when accessing it. If you are ok with maybe having to tinker with it initially, it is a great knife for the money.

Excellent blade edge life
Smooth action on opening and closing. Liner lock works very well and it strong enough to hold the blade open but not too weak to collapse if you're using it. Action is very smooth and feels broken in before you got it. The clip holds securely to your pants and allows for a pretty deep carry in your pocket. The lanyard loop is good but holds thinner paracord not the standard 550 you get everywhere. The ding from 5 to 4 stars is the action, I think, is upside down. As you pull it from your pocket, you need to flip the knife over and use it upside down to open it. It takes some getting used to compared to my Kershaw and Spyderco knives. The blade edge I sharpened once when I got it to bring it up to extremely sharp and it's held an edge for about 3 weeks of daily intermittent use. It's still sharp, but not scary sharp as it was. The blade is also tucked away nicely inside the handle and no chance of cutting yourself.

Blade is barely 4” long
It was supposed to be 4 1/2 inches long. Nothing great

Amazing value
I can’t say enough good things about this Flissa folder, it is a fantastic EDC at an unbelievable price. I have been carrying and using the Flissa for a month now and it has been flawless. The D2 blade is a time proven quality knife steel. The G10 handle scales are not too aggressive but still provide a solid grip. The quick open flipper is super easy to use. The blade lockup is really tight with no play. The clip allows for a deep pocket carry. Overall it really feels good in the hand and the blade is the perfect size for my taste. This all comes at a price point so low you don’t have to be afraid to really use and abuse the knife. If you lose it or mess it up you can just grab another one for next to nothing. This knife would also make a great gift for a discerning knife enthusiast.
